A lot of full on (even the "clones") is pretty good music. The problem, though is that *everybody* plays it all of the time. You go to a party and hear too much of the music is full-on for the entire night. Most times a DJ puts a set online, it is the same style.
I like a lot of full-on. I even play some in my DJ sets. But it makes up only a small part since there is so much other good music out there.
Too much of a good thing gets boring.
Balance is key.

you see, after some time with cloned full on we got some new stuff from the comic trance gang (pixel sub6 etc...)

Hey gilad i agree with you 100%!
But this style(comic trance)exists some time ago(2 or 3 years!
Psy Sex and Infected Mushroom ever in their history(inteligent trance)!
Now we have Panick,Sub 6,Infected,Psy sex. . .
For me this is INTELIGENT music(trance), and i think its dificult this style win the top in trance scene,cause majority of artists in trance only can make "Easy things",and make musics in "2 or 3 days",and this style of music(comic trance)have lot of work by the artists that made the tunes. And this is not work for only 2 or 3 days!
This is work for long long time,and the musician need to thing a lot to complete one tune.
For me this is good music!
Complex music!
Complex sounds!
Complex lines!
Never easy!
in the end you are satisfied with your work,and every ppl recognize your work! |

well, you can't use unbased facts like this. you really don't know how long it is for astrix to finish a track and how long it is for panic. I really couldn't care less about the time spent on a piece of music, as long as the quality and freshness is kept!
psysex (and panic too btw) was active 3 years ago yes, but it wasn't like it is today - where we have more than a few artists that make this style.
but now you can also say that sub6 is psysex clone, so imo it's still very far, enough to be different (this stands for all other gang members  )
oh and btw, i'm happy people use my new style name

sub6 are not psysex clones. gilad you slipped here bigtime sub6's sound is a whole diffrent story alltogether... boom to that whole crew. |

hey gilad, i don`t say that astrix make tunes in 2 or 3 days!
I like astrix,and in full on scene for me his sound is the best without doubts(lot of work on tunes).
But we have artists with work for that(2 or 3 days trax)!
I call this work in mass!
Do you like this words as you are a listener?
I don´t(make me sick)!
And remember, unfortunalety this is the method that many artists use to up in life!
It`s bad but it`s real!
You only can do this if you don`t like. . .
Don`t invite them to play,and don`t buy their work!

Infected Mushroom and Hallucinogen dont lose more than 2/3 days to build a track, and this is in their interviews.. btw they are one of the highest sound manipulators.. |

astrix was just an example...
and i say it again, i really don't care how much time was invested at a track, as long as it's good.
the full on clones aren't.

This whole biotechnology discussion is getting nowhere... 
What's the difference between the clone and the original? Who's who clone?
Artists should try different ways to make tracks, but there are different styles, and when an artist have a style similar to other artist's style, people start saying it's a clone... Psydrop is an Astrix clone? I don't think so, both of them have amazing tracks.
Or maybe the problem is at parties, when every DJ play mainstream tracks...

Why bored ? I was listening to trance show and all the trax were the same. I Think this is a problem.

This problem came up at the last year, or two... , since the rise of alien project & astrix this style became a "standart full-on"
same bassline,same leads,same old un-original "music"...
i think that it is good when an artist come up and inspire other artists to hes style...but this is too much !
