I don't mind the age.
Optokoppler - Replugged is the 2nd best full on album imho after black & white. There are good albums on that list and some horrible. But usta is far from being crap like chemical crew.

i know they had some goood releases(the older once they did released the first lish album which was very good and the first blt album and many more...)
but most of there new releases are crap. |

Yes. Dejavoodoo is a mile stone 4 me. But the new usta music...is nice (not all 4 sure). But taste is taste....

Damage is nothing special.
p.micro is horrible music Imho
All the artists are the same in this label - copycats .
But Exaile are real good! They sound a little bit different

Indeed Pavel,we must be brave and strong.
It will be hard to move on, knowing the creator of such milestone releases(Ben P listed some amazing compilations up there),
will stop doing so.
But enough sarcasm for a moment:
When i first got into the scene in the mid-nineties,the Krembo shop in the old telaviv harbour,managed by the man himself, was THE ONLY place to get trance music.
ZooB and his pals were also responsible for unforgetable event-lines in such places as the "Turtle-House" and "NAMES" in telaviv.
They released some really good compilations and also the legendary Chakra and edi mis album.No sarcasm here, mind you.
Hack,i will never forget the moment ZooB went on stage in the first dance and levi's festival(with the track "cellorian" from xerox and freeman),Bringing thousands of people a big big smile on their faces.
But here the compliments end,my friends.
ZooB then released the 1st psysex tune(4 days of madness Ep)which was so critically acclaimed,some magazines said it was the best krembo 12" in a a while if not ever.
Did he pay Psysex for this release?
take a wild guess.
And if this wasn't enough,they even asked Goblin to pay them back for some expenses!!!!!
Since then krembo (and after a while USTA)went downhill sooooo fast,with terrible releases and zero quality control.
Many times i would hear about hard working artists who got fucked by this lable.
Not to mention the god-awful parties he arranged,in the Pacha or elsewhere,bringing Tsuyoshi each time,not minding that he also is way beyond his glory days.
And now the man and the legend goes on public saying Trance is dead and its not what it used to be etc etc.
Give me a fucking break.
I can go on and on, but nothing can describe the feelings of disgust i had while reading his article.
It's not that EVERYTHING he says there is totally worng,but most of it is pure crap.

I must second my emotional collegue here
I released my first album and EP in Krembo back in 1998, and for that I guess I can be thankfull. But fortunately for me I was grown up enough to come with an attorney to demand my money and got out with something. So many artists worked for nothing with this label, the list is longer then most of u can imagine.
The only thing that is wrong with the trance scene of today is those that try to milk it for money day after day, and those that follow them ( most of the time unknowingly ). Unfortunately many follow that for years and even do not realize they have been fooled.

i grew up in first and till now best progressive weekly line @ Dinamo Dvash runed by ZooB... i bought 500+ cds in krembo shop and last year i worked with zoob in zamir and he was perfectly straight with money thing for me...
so what can i say, have fun with your new thing, i see ya there with jameson in glass!
