2006 is a year for the techtrance and minimal revival.. expect alot of braintorture at your local parties..
Electro will start fading away, full-on will become more and more trancy..
Nighttime killarg stuff will get faster..
Progressive will continue to peak at the top as it is right now, blending more and more with trance and house music..
Thats what i think..

i hope the music becomes a blend of the pure ol psychedelia and todays aggressive and powerful tunes ..the qualit of production is gonna be even better! im quite sure....2006 is gonna be another banger one!

I expect some new great albums from maybe new artists for the next year. And i hope i will be able to visit some nice festivals in the next outdoor seseon.

I expect to hear more and more cheeze on the full on side, possibly some rap and downright reggae vocals in the mix for wider audience.
On the progressive side things are looking cloudy but constant, prog will eventually sound more like andre absolut and house parties will play prog psy if they don't already, also the coke will disappear which is a good thing Bring on the wine! 
Dark psy well it will begin to mature more, better sound quality, I agree more melodic and slower but more disturbing, possibly even more dark ambientish, Ghreg on Earth may have set a new standard which the other kidz will attempt to copy, only natural.
Derango and Ka-Sol and any who follow will continue to do their own forest sound, the only true psychedelic sound IMO. They will get lost in the forest, only to be found months later with sounds from the someplace not known...
What else is there, oh yeah, the forecast shows more labels, the death of an equal number, people buying more cds, wirikuta's shop gaining in popularity, psyshop loosing their hold.
