hello ppl from isratrance forum!
always when i'm watching some movie or doing something that bring noises, i think in put this sounds in a track, a sample.
if you have the *power* of produce good tracks, what sample that you use in it?
i always think in use some sample from A Clockwork Orange, that movie rocks ever!

well...i would use
Fear and loathing in Las Vegas(tho it already appeard in alot of tracks but still i would use more lines)
Requiem for a dream
A clockwork orange definetly

You can reduce the power of a song with a hackneyed sample... why not get a bit more obscure and delve into the b-movies and rarities, broadcasts and cancelled tv shows, books-on-tape and interviews, etc? Show some taste and creativity... or are you on Agitato records?

the question is: i'll made a good track, to listening, not to sell..
i think u can use the creativty using any sample that you want. if the sample is *pop* is another thing. i think you have to make what u like, not the people like..

books-on-tape indeed!!! thats my choice. preferably spooky german ones, from audiobooks like 1984, or also series like Point Whitmark, The Three ??? and so on. audiobooks rock!!!
for movies i'll go with kukan-dub-lagan, tim burton movies are nice to chop into samples, he's a genious, and so is his masterpiece "The tale of Sleepy Hollow", where i have taken some samples from in the past. but unfortunately most goodies in that movie are with classical music in the background, which can be a nice effect for a long sample....but not for short ones that i prefer...

i think that Fear & Loathing is bit corny (too many used it thoguht i must agree the "Any1 got some acid ? i got all the madints(not sure bout spelling right here all i need is a place to cook" - is a GREAT LINE
any way i whould recomend u to record ur own lines that way u can be much more creative insted of counting on Jhony depp to say the exac lines u whould like
about the other movies that were posted... ah... i dunno |

What about fairy tales??
I've been collecting old fairy tales recordings (Caedmon is probably the best label for spoken word and such) and using them in my chill-out sets, playing along with music.
There are some awesome samples in, say, Peter Pan or Hanz Christian Andersen or 1001 Nights...

there is 3 more lines i really think would be great:
1)"what kind of psychotic rat bastard would play this song right now at this moment"

i also would like to recommend the movie "spun" its a great movie kind of combination betwin "Requiem for a dream" and "Transpoting".

I saw yesterday From Dusk Till Dawn for the 10th time and noticed Cheech Marin shouting some stupid words that were later sampled by Bigwigs in "Pusi Intruder".
Such a funny sample.
