I don't know the specific name ect. But it was a 386 in 1995, or was it 96? I could Only run either Fasttracker II or DOOM on it.

I didn't get my next personal computer until the year 2004.

it was commodore in 1985 which was more like a video game...instead of monitor the TV screen was used!!it was capable of only LOGO programming language..it used Tape drives for storage!!

my first proper PC was Wipro x86 back in 1989 when MSDOS version 5 was running!! dont remember the config anymore...LOtus 123, Dbase plus and Wordstar were the main softwares....and GW-BASIC was the most powerful programming language and the floppy was pretty huge that time!!

A C64 and later a 486 25 MHz with unbelievable 4mb ram, 60mb hd and a double speed cd-rom which you had to pull out manually to open and insert a cd.

Back in 1983 or 1984... a BBC Model B, 32K RAM, fully pimped out with 5 1/4" floppy drive, 16-colour monitor and maths co-processor which ran at 1MHz

I programmed it to play "Don't Bring Me Down", by ELO...          Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

it was my parents' 386 pc with 25 mhz, ~120 mb harddrive, they upgraded it to 2 mb of ram and win 3.11 and of course dos were on it.
there was some sort of a turbo boost button, what seems to become popular again with i5 and i7.. :-P

i had great fun writing *.bat files and programming gwbasic and later qbasic was also very cool.
