Ikarus 'Shiva (Indian Goddess Edit)' which I can't stop playing. It's not the production - Ikarus can be very samey. But this one's a peach because the sample is gorgeous.

yeah... i know it is lame to chart things from unreleased material... but ...
the tunes are from the next two interchill releases...
in september - compilation - dissolving clouds
Eat Static - UK
Kaya Project - UK
Alex Theory - USA
Legion of Green Men - Canada
Liquid Stranger - Sweden
Lunchbox - USA/Austria/Lithuania
Eiji - japan
Erik the Viking vs Odo - Australia / UK
Gaudi and Tripswitch - UK
Mauxuam - Australia
Peyote Sound System - Australia
and the other two are from the new and wonderful kaya Project album - due for release in october - check seb's set at the Glade festival to hear the new tunes. The second album draws on more original recordings and less on sampled material... |

Favourites at the moment -
Anything by Ulrich Schnauss. This guy makes some of the most beautiful melancholic melodies i've ever heard. Pure, mellow, glitch-free IDM genius.
Anything by Healer. Very good melodic chill-out music!
Most of Brian Eno’s ambient stuff - especially ‘An Ending (Ascent)’.
Also, ‘Melt’ by Leftfield - an absolute classic!
