I like different eqs for different things, but I'd have to say my goto eqs are Easy-q and ReaFIR

Thinking of picking up the Sonoris MEQ (mastering EQ) soon, to use in place of DDMF LP10. Anyone tried it?           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

I just recent discovered EQuilibrium DMG Audio, fantastic emulations and also good allround EQ. Dont know if somebody mentioned it.

My masterering EQ would be the UAD Massive Passive. There is nothing else like it.

yep, it's a very good one! plus, it's got some very good high pass filters to shave off the excess of low rumble.

brainworx bx digital v2 is also a great sounding EQ

With Fl Studios stock plugin EQ2 I can mix a kick and bass with no ears, I really love this plugin and it consumes little to no resources.
Also use fabfilter pro Q a lot as it gives a bit less color compared to image line's EQ2           Free album out now:

I like Gliss EQ a lot, being a dynamic EQ you can zone in on some problematic frequencies and bring them down in a more musical way then with a standard Q. But that's pretty much all I use it for.

Been using Equality for highpass filtering Bass, Kick and pretty much everything else - even though I'm not so picky with the high pass filters higher up on the spectrum. Like Brainworx digital v2 Q for some stuff, really like the curves on that thing, but it's more of a broad strokes kind of Q for me.

Now, has anyone checked the Sheps 73 from waves yet? it's the 1073 NEVE emulation from waves, this time they've gone into the trouble of including the pre-amp stage as well.

After a lot of research, I finally bit the bullet and bought DMG EQuilibrium today. Looking forward to getting stuck in and setting up a nice HPF/Low Shelf/5 Band Peak/High Shelf/LPF combo mastering preset, for before I hit the transfer DAC.

This thing looks DEEEEEEEEEP!           http://hermetechmastering.com : http://www.discogs.com/artist/Gregg+Janman : http://soundcloud.com/babaluma

So, spent the last two days configuring my 'Default' for the mastering chain. Will mainly go directly after client file, and before the analogue chain. This thing is insanely deep, and sounds just stunning.

Can anyone tell I'm not a fan of plugin bling? Happy the GUI is so configurable, as this is just how I like it.
