If i remember jess and his preants ran the place but the psy scene didnt bring enough drinkers so they stopped doing psy parties and focused on matric after partys with guys like "tony smith "
still a kick ass venue

but plett isn't really that 'irie'... not like knysna anyway. psy and plett don't really gel.
i've been going there my whole life about 3 times a year and find myself more drawn to knysna (getting a bit crowded now) and paradise on earth - nature's valley.

yeah but theres nowhere to throw partis in knysna , so you end up having them out in plett or wilderness

Old thread... but I wonder what people would say now with all these new promoters sprouting up all over the show.
I'm going to have to say the Village throws the best parties. Good vibe and music is guarenteed

Most of the smaller organisers, like Free Range, Crystal Visions ect. have unfortunatly fallen aWay.
Leaving behind the Big Boys ( Vortex, Groovy Troopers, Alien Safari ect.) wich i think is sAd, as i always liked the smaller, under 200 ppl parties
A lot of the new organiser like ETM are playing alot of like 190 bpm crap wich sux. A lot. |
