They stopped throwing Parties there now, i think.
Unfortunately.
Last time I was in plett I went to Weldon Khaya hoping for great things, and it turns out the place has gone to shit. Still looks the same, etc.

If i remember jess and his preants ran the place but the psy scene didnt bring enough drinkers so they stopped doing psy parties and focused on matric after partys with guys like "tony smith "
still a kick ass venue

but plett isn't really that 'irie'... not like knysna anyway. psy and plett don't really gel.
i've been going there my whole life about 3 times a year and find myself more drawn to knysna (getting a bit crowded now) and paradise on earth - nature's valley.

yeah but theres nowhere to throw partis in knysna , so you end up having them out in plett or wilderness
