not easy to get sound like this.. we spend the whole night to get a few usable sounds, it s really synth for guys that like tweaking, if you enjoy you will love it !!
it can make really twisted sound , good for forest trance or psyche stuff.. often so twisted that it s hard to use them in music unless you make music as twisted.. still possible to do more normal sound , fm but it s like using a ferrari to drive at 50 kmh and there is some others great optiong for this that i never reach for aalto..it s just for crazyness and psyche stuff i use it, only soft that capture that modular spirit of making blip blurp and sound that you wonder how it s possible to use in a musical context..thats where is all the fun and challenge.. |

have som psy kick have to check if these are good but it might possible to make a full tune with just aalto.. can t wait for is next synth.. or V2 dunno what is coming but i know i will buy it 
what i love the most is really the step sequencer for modulation damn, a eurorack with a sequencer possible to do that.. i would love that do you think there is somthing simila woodster? so i can controll pitch on vco and do modulation?
in soft there is a good cv sequenceur on mac but need es3.. but hardware would be more fun.. |

theres loads bud, ill get back to you on this
actually the step sequencer for mashine is pretty full spec. hold down a step and all the controlls for the synth are step editable.
so if you got a soft ths just did midi it would work just as good, |

good workflow i have find guys for leads.. far to be specialist..but it might help..if you wanna use the step sequ , just draw a 1 bar midi note...route the step sequ to the pitch of the osc..and then find a sequencue..
then by usuing is as modulator and all the rest stuff.. and making a new midi (or not) it work well
for setereo routing one voice on the right other on the left is fun like on the tweaker patch |

dunno what exclaty it does but offseting the step seq to get audiorate modulation is kinda fun !
modulation of the osc waveform with lfo..at some point the waveform goes almost silenth when no hamrnoics when it pass to sine area and it make all the groove like on the tweaker patchn ,posford touch instanely..specially if you add the lfo to something that add harmonics like mod fm
no in fact it might work better my modulating the fm amount with the lfo to chnage the harmonics amount or using both at same time..
a bit fail but it s the idea

with the freedback there is probably killa things to do on these stuff..

next version with a bit of FM and a bit different filter/env setting. getting nicer.
