Actually I have to say that I've never heard Skazi's music so no comment on that. However I've been reading threads in here about this artist (mostly negative). I don't personally care if he is too commercial, everyone has a right to do whatever they want, maybe he is out there to make money, probably he is out there because he wants to be, maybe he was able to make a living from something he loves to do. Respect that, these were his choices. Same goes for Infected Mushroom, and I actually like even some of their new stuff. These are choices of the artists whether we like it or no, best way is to accept these choices instead of start mocking them. I actually remember starting a topic about this.
I would like to see less commercialism and more spiritually enhancing music, but I do not feel I'm justified to disrespect any commercial artists. |

personally...i started psytrance wit gms, skazi, infected,talamasca....and i think these guys are great to have reached where they are rite now...even if now i think their music has become repetitive...
coz if they werent good...then there sure wouldnt be people screaming skazi skazi or turning out in big numbers for these guys party...
i think its a case of exhausting your talent...they just need to come out with a banger of a track that reflects their talent...
i dont think just because these guys are old there is any reason to bash them...
imo there r lots of artists worse than them... |

i Have heard alot of skazi, mostly old stuff...animal ,zoo, super skazi ....
he WAS a great artists i belive he is not that great any more.
i dont deny that....
revolution was a hit but if u notice or compare it with other skazi tracks the bassline the breaks were almost the same.
he is great dj i completely agree on that.
he is great when he is spining.
but being a artists he is going down in my list...
and as per rock thing i belive he is still in love with heavy metal....
coz i dont knw single track of skazi which doesnt have a guitar part in it....
i mean 99% tracks of skaiz have guitar breaks in it or some thing related to guitars......
io just feel that he is still in love with heavy metal or he cannot leave his past behind....
he is like infected mushroom, who r just dying out...
if u heard their new album u would knw what i m talking abt.
its like some one compiled a psychedelic sounds with no start or end.....
overall skaiz was great,might great for some right now but not for me.
but i m sure he made his mark n point in the trance scene.

well for me its not skazi turning more commercial or marketing himself like a pop star.........
for me the problem with his music is that it is not psychedelic i dont listen to anything that is not psychedelic
so the music doesnt appeal to me
unfortunately though this is a recent phenomenon imo.......the music did have power and was psychedelic but that was in the olden days......
reasons for change i dont know and dont want to know.........
lets just say everythong happens for good

its so bizarre to see people bitching about this, when its the same people who doesnt support the music u said u love and i dont mean skazi only. ive seen many many posts in here about infected, gms, talamasca and the list goes on...
what is wrong in try to reach wider audiences with your work and make money in the process??
if you dont like it dont buy neither bitch about it....

my personal opinion is that his ego overshadows his music and that is a big turn off for me. and also i like PSYCHEDELIC trance, and taste aside i don't find anything psychedelic about his music.
But whatever to each his/her own.

So true... like so much of the scene now-a-days he does not evovle AT ALL!! No change what-so-ever... it's fine to be commercial, it's great to make money, but others such as proggy producers do this without losing touch with their roots... seriously, I have seen Astrix and Skazi described as NRG and Hard House in release promo's and in magazines... that is really saying something... it is not psytrance, they should step out of this scene, join a label more suited to their music and stop selling in psytrance shops!! |

That's the point she is regular looking girl but with makeup and proper advertisment she looks hot, alike half of Hollywood, so she is very similar to Skazi (i mean her look versus Skazi's music, don't get me wrong i don't wish to judge man's look! Rainbows HERE)
