What we have here is Hommega Productions newest release,a joint venture album of Xerox And Illumination.I dont think that any of these two artists need much introduction,Xerox is considered one of the legendary Israeli artists and Illumination is very well known from his previous three albums and various releases on some of the greatest labels of the scene.
Temporary Insanity looks promising indeed so lets see whats inside the disc.

Tracklist

01.Xerox And Illumination-3D
02.Xerox And Illumination-Marley On Acid Part II
03.Xerox And Illumination Featuring Sandman-Resolution
04.Xerox And Illumination Featuring Arikzon-Tribal Metal
05.Xerox And Illumination-Helium
06.Illumination-Under Pressure
07.Xerox And Illumination-Break Off
08.Psycraft-S.O.S (Xerox And Illumination Remix)
09.Xerox And Illumination Featuring Goma-Alech'o

Review

01)The album blasts off with 3D,an amazing full on tune very detailed crafted that will smash the dancefloors all around the world for sure.Amazing fast and pumping rythm along with great backround melodies, vocal samples and sound fx.This is a real party hit!

02)Next we have the sequel of Marley On Acid, the first part was released on Hommega's compilation Israliens 4 but i cant say that i much fancied it.This sequel though is much better (though the overall tune is average according to my taste) and i much enjoyed the Bob Marley vocals on the backround hehe.Preety average one like i stated before.

03)Resolution was released before a month on Hommega's latest compilation Full On 7 and it was one of my favorite tracks on the cd.Xerox And Illumination have done a wonderful job here with the help of Sandman who i miss a lot since he doesnt release much stuff the last two years.Great melodies and the usual strong pumping rythm of Xerox And Illumination with some final Sandman touches on it.A great track in every aspect.

04)Tribal Metal is a typical full on track with great guitar sounds on it.Until its fifth minute the tune is rather average but after that everything dramatically improves and becomes a hell of a track for the next two minutes with superb backround sounds and melodies.Nice one but check for yourself to see how much you like it.Guitar freaks will love this one for sure though.

05)Helium is a great powerful and at the same time atmospheric track ideal for the night time of a party. This can do miracles on the dancefloor and drive some people crazy for sure. After all the title of the album is Temporary Insanity isnt it?

06)Under Pressure is the solo track of Illumination on this album.Very intelligent tune that will make you dance for sure. One of the highlights of this album.

07)Well Break Off is a very average tune. The production quality is on the highest level (just like the rest of the album by the way) but not many interesting ideas in it.This one could be much better i think.

08)Next we have a remix to S.O.S an older Psycraft tune.Well this is somehow too 'dark' for me.I didnt like this tune at all.

09)Last but not least we have Alech'o.This is a very nice morning tune in collaboration with Goma (anyone has more info concerning this guy?).Great tune that reminded me some of Astrix work, very melodic and groovy.I am sure that we will hear this one in many parties around the globe.

I think that this album is for sure a success for Xerox and Illumination especially after Xerox latest album that was a big dissapoinment for me.Tracks like 3D,Resolution and Alech'o are great hits while tunes like Helium,Under Pressure and Tribal Metal are great party fillers.I am very satisfied from this release and i hope that we will hear more of this Israeli duo in the near future.By the way its about time Illumination releases a solo album dont you guys think?

My favorites are 1(!!),3(!),4,5,6,9(!)

Overall Rating 8/10           Toodaloo Motherfuckers!!!!!

Xerox & Illumination, both veteran artists, each accomplished on his own, unite, bringing you a CD high octane and sizzling with psychedelic power.
Temporary Insanity includes a selection of massive dance floor hits, all intense & energized with a high dose dripping psychedelic moments.
The tracks, that will fit early morning atmospheres and night time vision alike, present each with its own direction a story inflated by a tight melodic flavor and bizarre occurrences.
This CD means business and is 100% dance floor oriented, fitting perfectly indoor & outdoor locations alike.
Excellent productions and implementations of ideas, keeping together the sweet breeze of delightful psychedelic spirit.
Temporary Insanity is an easy choice to make when searching for one of those cherished, full powered psychedelic adventures.
Recommended!!!

One amazing album!

1. This track has to be one of my bests at the moment, that bass line is amazing and that melody one well produced track. The best part for me in this track would be the sound before the kick comes: "Ow..Ow..Ow" mixed in with that fast tin drum, hehehehe

5. Another amazing track that blew me away! Love the sounds and samples used. That computer simulated voice is so wicked Does anyone perhaps know what is being said?

Well done guys!           :: Life can be as bitter as dragon tears
But whether dragon tears are bitter or sweet

Hey people, thanks for the reviews (especially DETOX/Homsy).

Dragongurl for ur question the sample in Helium is saying "Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Drop, Acid, Acid"

just to mention that we have done 7 new tracks since the album so watch out for more headbanging new stuff !!
