ok, i've had a week to process it all so now i can make a comment i think:
This party was a true manifestation of a dream!! We kept telling ourselves all along that whatever energy you put in to the party, is what will come out of it- so we worked our asses off, putting care and love into every aspect of the party (which made the stress of throwing the party a lot less actually)!
The deco from Daya was mindblowing, it was so refreshing to see original art pieces on the wall, and it helped the complete transformation of what used to be a gym into a psychedelic temple. Big thanks also to Mike & Tapie for making such a beautiful altar.
The music was another (un) reality altogether. All the artists gave their best and people were going insane... every track was perfect for the time. Mubali- thank u so much for your patience, sorry your set was short, but you got the crowd moving right away and rocked it as usual! Fractal Cowboys, so glad Quasar made it back for the party- you guys are my heros, hee hee. Ghreg pulled out all the stops and played the best set from him i've ever heard. Xenomorph, what to say, he is our inspiration for good reason...always good music, never afraid to play exactly what he wants- he knows what's best for the crowd, mwah ha ha. Amanda's brief set showed us just how high the intensity level can go before our heads all break open, i'm afraid for you all when she unleashes the music she is producing now! and UV!! Doof has been my favorite label for awhile now so what an extra special gift to have UV play for us! A real suprise for those who've never heard the doof sound before 
I've never experienced such a crazy and interconnected vibe at a party ever.
And the afterparty?!?!? that magical forest, oh wow. couldn't describe the events that took place there with words!! It makes me laugh and cry just to think about it. I want to live there now, hee hee.
anyway, enough rambling... Just a big thank you to everyone who helped, danced, played etc. Thanks to the more experienced people who lent us knowledge and advice and thanks to the people who've never helped before who lent us their fresh and exciting energy!! and to the other M.o.E's- we got it handled  |

It's been a little over a month since our party and still I find it nearly impossible to put into words that which fills my heart. So I'll keep this short and sweet (umm, I mean  ).
Many Thanks to everyone who helped us realize our vision and share our love of the dark evil music that touches our souls and the uplifting positive energy and vibe it gives us.
This party (not just the party, but everything that went into making it) was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had in my life. I feel truely blessed to know these women and honored to call them friends.
 Become a ray of darkness in an otherwise unbearably sunny day. |
