Talent with "copy & pate" music ??? Hmmm, I really doubt about!

Stop bothering X-noise? Hmmm, I would do...Only if they stop bothering my ears!

...That was funny , good one!!!

I don't see the big deal here.
It looks like Delta said OK on the track.

If Delta was upset about it Im sure they would do something.

X-Noise is good.

So much music in this scene is copy/paste get used to it, this cover is hardly copy/paste.

I'm still wondering how Intellibeam and Astrix have the exact same songs, talk about copy/paste.           no sig

ok lets put it in few lines
1.X-Noize guy/s/ make cover version for famous track just for fun - so far nothing disturbing
2.They contact the original producers of the track to ask them about releasing the track - so far nothing disturbing
3.The original artist give permission for releasing with some additional terms - removing some of the elements and NOT crediting the original artist (maybe you wonder why Delta would do such a thing? maybe they just didn't want X-Noize to use their name to become popular - the track X-Noize - anjuna beach means nothing more than new X-Noize track - doubt anyone expected this to be remix of As a child...now imagine how much attention will pay ppl if they see The Delta - As a child ...(X-Noize Remix) i bet a lot of ppl would by the cd just because of this)
4.Crystal Matrix releases the cover track following all terms which The Delta asked for - what's the problem? The problem is that some of you just don't like the full on side of psytrance (or you just didn't like the remix) and you feel like someone personally insulted you with his remix to an old classic :]
What's the problem here guys? Did native radio have permission to use theme from movie? And if not why there aren't such a thread about it There are many examples of psytrance artists ripping off other artists + I'm sure many DJ's play from unlicensed mp3s + There are artists using unlicensed software to produce music and then releasing it + promoters and even labels not paying to artists + ppl who don't pay to go to party...and a lot more examples of RIP OFFS which are actually much more harmful than this case (which in fact isn't rip off if what X-noize told us is true)
So why the hell there aren't threads about all the others artists, labels, party organizers and normal psy freaks who rip off another ppl?

In fact i could offend BLT with the same arguments for remixing Astral's track if - bla bla bla blt ruined classic, he ruined the whole spirit of the track, it's not right to remix classic tracks, his style is too elitist etc. etc. (note that i like both the original and the remix and only give this for example)
What would be the difference since it's clear that copyright laws are respected in the delta/x-noize case?

Great post man, good to see a bit of common sense shown by members of the board.

BLT..interested in your response regarding you remixing the Astral Projection track.

i see a little difference on that, cause blt track is a rmx made with the original track and with the original artist permit and intent, in this case astral projection. i don´t believe this issue here has anything to do with remixing classic old tracks.

i see other artists, in this case for example skazi, that makes dozens of horrible voice tracks remixes like nirvana tracks remixes, these tracks go out in the internet for people to share but they don´t get released, either with .... (rmx) neither with another completly diferent name. i really believe anyone can rmx anything but people maybe should think twice before releasing it cause some people seem to get very upset with that.

i personaly just don´t care and it doesn´t bother me anything that in this case x-noise have remixed this particular track.

I might have ruined the spirit of the Astral track but...

01. Astral asked me to do the remix

02. Astral liked the outcome

03. Astral put it in their remixes CD

Some ppl might like it more some might like it less, but those three points are the relevant.

And btw THAT is what is called remixing a tune. I know fair well that I am not Astral Projection. I do something else, and that is the whole beauty in remixing imo.

That was official BLT response

The sinister triad of Bacon, Lettuce, and Tomato has got it right... that was pretty much the only listenable track from the remixes.

TIP World seems to have picked up this track for release on their upcoming compilation. I guess it's true - when you don't have anything original to offer just rip off a brilliant classic and success will follow.

If we want to extend the conspiracy, consider that X-Noise is a fusion of X-Dream and Organic Noise, two Delta-related groups.

Hey
the thing is that the delta guys didn't want to give us license to release the track as Delta - as A chlid (X-noiZe rmx)
they asked to change the sample and release it in other name so thats what we did because we think and lots of people think that it is a very good track except delta guys.

Great rmx guys...i love it           the last night of trancentrall

X-Dream did ok this release and it is a great track. It isn't unimaginative to base a track around someone elses. It's about coming up with a piece of music that moves people. Musicians, artists, architects whatever have been drawing their references from other people since time began. More directly, there isn't a dance genre anywhere in the world that doesn't remix/copy/sample sounds and ideas from somwhere else...all art is plagarism. Using a track so close to home (as an X-Dream classic) of course causes more controversy...but X-Dream were consulted before release and it IS a killa.

Shame. I guess this reflect this copy/paste generation genre.           Majority is never right!
