My only problem with roots is Bob cast such a huge shadow I've never been able to get much into other artists.

Like I'm sure purist hate this but I love this california white boy dub...the psytrance scene could really use a listen to these lyrics

Here's a massive reggae/dub cover of one of the most famous jazz tunes of all time - Take Five by Paul Desmond and Dave Brubeck.
Done by The Aggrovators, King Tubby and Bunny Lee

This, one of the best topics ever in Isra, has been dead for too long, says I

So, here are these 70 year old reggae grandpas, who are making absolutely amazing covers of great tunes, in reggae versions of course

Jolly boys - Blue Monday

Jolly Boys - The Passenger

Jolly Boys - Perfect day

Hope you'll enjoy

Honestly, I didn't dig the Damian Marley track - but tastes are different, and I respect all of them.

My favourite track from him still remains "Welcome to Jamrock" - the track that uses the beat and samples from Ini Kamoze's "World a Reggae"

On the other hand, the second video you posted is massive!
Haven't heard of Cultural Roots (shame on me), but they really rock

Not too keen bout D. Marley myself but a couple tunes I do like. From the previous album, I really enjoyed Confrontation.

Another Marley that has produced a new album is stephen.
