needs more darkness... Celsung would be a nice addition, i think he is in the US... Or some dark acts from Mexico(Master Pain, Audiopathik, and Xikwri Neyrra have excellent live acts...) The line-up as it is doesn't look that dark...
Also, $50&$70... ouch... pretty steep for a line-up of all US-based artists...
Not trying to be a negative nelly, this is just my $.02... I really like the idea you guys have and I'm sure you will succeed in what you want to accomplish... Good luck with everything, and if you need an extra dj to play something scary, I'm available... email me: j_roberts72@yahoo.com
BOOM!

  Nocturnal Wizardz Recs
Bhooteshwara Records
Cubasing is like Freebasing, just with audio.
Both cost more than you can afford, and leaves you sitting in a dark room with no life, craving for more. |

Celsung would have been wonderful -- but he is actually living in Thailand now for the forseeble future...
As for Mexican artists -- I guess I just need to get out more! We tried hard to get Baphomet Engine for a live set but Visas are becoming more and more difficult to cope with it seems.
Price is always an issue for sure...Keep in mind thought that this is a non-profit party which is aiming for a small attendence in order to keep it intimate, so costs have to be made up somewhere!
Thanks for the constructive criticism! I'm super excited!

I hear you for sure on the intimacy/ cost issue... Too bad about Celsung... I want to see that live sometime for sure...
As for other artists, Mr. Umbra, aka Darkoholic who just posted sure would be a good addition... All of the Fifth element/Mass Abduction guys in Hermosillo/ Tijuana rock the decks with full power bpm...
Well, regardless, this kind of music at Deerfields will make for an incredible party...
Big boom from Texas,
Jeff |

The problem with bringing acts from Mexico is the difficulty of obtaining an entrance visa. Otherwise, I am sure all of them would be playing all over the US.
I'm psyched about Dylalien coming out - my favorite twisted artist/dj in the US at the moment. also i am sure the lineup will evolve and grow in the coming months.

Man, this is gonna be a fun event... Jeff, I wouldn't worry about not enough nastiness being played at this one, between Brainlizzard & Aastral, Nikon, Devic, Primordial Ooze, Dimitry, Dragon, Psyonic, & myself I think there'll be a neuro overload... I'll bet that by the time this event is over, we'll have some dancefloor casualties that stomped their own trench. This will be my first journey to legendary Asheville and I really can't wait to go out there and have fun with all you wonderful people!
