I must say that the majority of bands in this post don't come up as original in my mind...
when i think original i just think "where the hell did this guy come up with this ideas???"
The first name that comes to my mind when thinking about unique, original trance is
Artefact,
i really have no idea how he gets the inspirations to do such diferent tunes one ofter the other...has anyone noticed how rare it is to listen to a delay in his musics? i think at this time hes definetely the most original artist, really surprised it wasn't mentioned in this post yet.
Eskimo has also come up with some original stuff, like the crazy tweaks in the baseline he does in some musics.

hmm what mean original ? whell i can say when u hear the track first time and after that u say that is him! and that is not always! as exemple tamir ozana u can alway say this is tamir but hi is not original!
for me original artists is:
wizzy noise
orion
joti (but i dont like his music to much)
altom
...
not original :
as i say tamir
psydrop
nissimyani ...
and other

it's easy to get stuck with the imprecision of language and everyone's personal development with the scene. in fact who know if we are even all hearing things the same in our brains?
but i'm willing to live with that uncertainty...
and so when i think of artists making music that is pushing what psytrance can be i think of
Kiwa and Eraser vs jojalka- i love how thay combine sick breaks on top of the beats...
Texas Faggott/mandalavandalz for the humor/mayhem...
not to be overlooked is Ubar Tmar from japan

original music is very rare in the psytrance scene.
everybody is copying everybody....so 3/4 of all artists aren't original IMO....unless you find using presets original...bwhahahahaha
