Why we can not see a concert in greece?

I was wontering why anyone i meen promoter can not bring a real concert? like spongle like hilight tribe? o.k they need a lot of money but the people will give some euros more for this one!!! what do you thing? |

Juno Reactor is planned for Greece for the last three years actually LOL.
Anyway its not easy to host in Athens even a single night party (i mean a serious one not just 100 people in a bar) so you can understand that setting up a concert is a much more difficult task.

i remeber juno rector in alsos -- mabe there live is bigger but u can host him here in a club like gagarin...not more than 2000 people will come any way....we are not japan...
infected and astrix and gms and skazi bring more people than juno is some countries and here 1000 max..... |

Last year some people tried to book Juno Reactor for Athens but after some time and lenghty negotiations they dissappeared and Ben contact me and asked me if i could help him in realising the gig he had scheudled for Athens which was part of their tour at that time.
I said to him that i would see what i can do and i personally along with Iraklis Mindphaser visited the owner of Gagarin who was very positive in our first meeting and he said that he would be more than happy to host that event and that i should call him the next day to finalize our deal.
I called the next day but noone answered the phone,i left some messages to his secretary but i got no answer back,i did the same the day after and even the day after that and because i dont have the time and the mood for such situations i dropped the whole idea and informed Ben that i cannot help him and host such an event in Athens,he thanked me anyway for trying to help him and promised him that in the future if a good opportunity appears i will contact him to see if we can arrange something.Thats the story about last year at least.
So like Dimension very wisely asked WHERE IS THE VENUE TO HOST SUCH AN EVENT?
Give me a venue and i will take care of the rest.

i thing that for promoter will cost the same as bringing skazi,gms. or other project that can bring money on their pockets!!!so why they dont try to bring someone?
mayby in NYE will be great!!! Who psychedelic-trance lover wont want to see a concert? i thing everyone!!!
at thessaloniki we have a lot of promoters and i thing that eternal is the best!!!( in my opinion )

i think skazi would win here for concert at this moment he is the most comercial here ,,after gms,
hopefully some of these artists will come here soon |

Lots of good concerts happens from times to times...
But im talking about real bands;i dont consider skazi or gms bands and would be wrong to classify them as bands...
Peoples minds are kinda 'locked',only what should be under "psytrance" genre would be "killer" for most of the people and thats dissapointing enough to make the organizers to think twice and take a big risk to bring some good noncommercial band,so as expected pop bands/artists will bring the most people and profit...

juno reactor if u mean is mostly a nice show with good music ,they are big respect for me
skazi is a band
they play gutair and all ,and skazi does mostly concert
dont take greece for example see in other countries ,he has concerts every were..
i dont know what u mean real bands in this sceene we have juno ,,infected, skazi ,1200 mics at the top

cose what u refer to is electronic like ex cruftwork or Ozric Tentacles do u relise how many people listen to them any more,only mabe at home,
and if u want to know when ure comercial like infected or skazi and u tour japan ,
and all the world ,yes my friend then 2 people playing to together is a band.
and in my consirn u should be happy to hear them in greece,, cose if u see what they ask to come,,, know if u think any 1 will bring ozric ,, u must be waiting a long time ,,,only comercial sells for many people its bussiness my friend for many people,, at least the y have to ensure there investment not to lose the 5000 or more they will pay to bring u skazi or infected i think is 10.000 or something like that..i hope some 1 could bring juno rector i love his music,
if athens sceene have 1000 max in parties, u think u can pay all this big names only if all this 1000 people come u mite make..
what heppnes if u bring juno and 600 people come,who will pay them? |

Did you know that i made 46 meetings with sponsors and they all said no??
