wat do u think, could some day any trance artist win a gremy and been between rock, pop, rap stars?????

Well the question is do we want to promote this scene in this way?
All this awards were designed to give an additional market tool to this companies and their products.
This of course creates super stars and images and makes mega money.
Do we want superstars?
I can imagine that most would come forward and say immediately - no -
But I am sure that if I start a new post asking for - Who are the superstars of trance in your opinion - in a week or so I would have probably a 100 different names.
The idea actually isn't that bad, if you make psy trance awards, it would promote the scene and help the artists.
Your favourite artist would then not sell 2000 - 10000 albums but something like 20000 - 100000 (maybe) albums, now would that be such a bad thing?
And maybe it would also help to increase the quality.
The problem I see here is that to make such awards big enough it needs money, so who will pay for this awards - maybe the bigger trance labels. But then in exchange as it is with the grannies they would want their artists to win.
Anyway just some thoughts...
