Is there sooooo much minimal tracks being made now a days???? where are the layers of sounds the complexity..... sometimes the dance flor just gets sooooo boring...... any ways thats just my view of what has been going on...

DUDE!! what the hell are u talking about????? please give me some names of Minimal producers or the location of where u are at....if u guys have so much minimal parties ill be mooving there in a sec' even if i need to live in a TENT!

Nomolos, Minimal Criminal is/are Brazilian/s.
Minimal is small number of audio tracks used per track. Minimal is not style or genre.
I think, i'm only one who got Watter's point. He meant ages ago there was complex music createn from many sounds, right now all gone. Minimal even fullon you refer to, Nomolos. Minimalizing for me means less creative musicians and less creative listeners. |

HUH????? first of all Minimal Criminal(Valerio and Bruno) are friends of main and great artists...but what does that have to do with anything????? second,i was saying there is allmost NO minimal produced or played at parties(as mush as i know).....
now about your other super sharp observations.....Minimal is a concept in contemporary art.....the main motive is "less is more" meaning getting to a point with as least elemnts needed to make a very strong point!
and who is more intelegent the one that can find his way home by the stars ? or the one that uses a G.P.S,map,cellphone to call mommy,and a taxi to take him when he just cant handle all the hightech equipment he has??????
now....reading thru the forum i know u will keep comenting untill my soul will tire and return to hell,i will wish u a happy new year and a pleasent stay in the forums "persistency" Royal Suite....and if it will give me a chance to live on ill just say "your right" and hope u are satisfied....

the matter is in music, not in the way or style music is created. you are all talking about lack of creative ideas and conceptual thinking. minimal is the ssame good as full on but:
as you probably know, "production" is substitute for "musical content" on this scene. if production is ok, track is ok. this is the worst thing that happened to this scene. its happens so rarely when music meets good production under the one name.
this is the problem. |

People, we're talking music here and that means getting personal, because music means taste, and there's nothing more personal than taste. Get it? Some people think Son Kite still make minimal. They're stupid, I agree, but why not let it all slide?? Getting into discussion about it inevitabely leads to treading on people's taste.

well the thing here is that if the production is bad then the track has few chances of being a good track, no matter it´s "musical content"..., on the othe hand if the production is good then we already have like half way of being able to get a good track with good production and good "musical content"..
