I hope I dont bruise anyones ego with this but......
... girls prefer to be around successfull men - Men who will be able to provide for them + with whom they can create a family.....
There are simply too many loosers in the psy scene, fucked up people on drugs and so forth for it to attract females in the long run.
Often I only see young naive girls in the scene, who will be there untill they know better.... or girls who seem to be there for the drugs / experimenting (just like a lot of the rest of the people).
However - I think we shouldnt forget that there are girls who are in it for the music - I dont think, that if you take 100 girls and 100 guys and let some kind of superior being judge them as to whether they are in it for the music or not - That you will see that much of a difference there.
In other words - Its not a matter of musical taste... Its just a matter of the mainstream girl not being attracted to whatever we psytrance males have to offer. (I mean, most of us look like drug addict bums)
Lots of the girls I met personally in the scene, who seemed to care for the music, turned out to be great people.
but, girls will be girls  Money, Success, Status is important to MANY of them... Just like ass, boobs and face are to males... That kind of thinking is still what generally drives women today...
New change is that mens looks matter also - But thats more something created by commercials, than any real need in society. (men worrying about their looks is important to the market).
Good thing is, if you are NOT a looser - You are likely to have a good chance ending up with a cool girl - Since the psy scene is full of loosers, the good girls will be happy to find someone as cool as themselves to share their lives and passions with
Once more, sorry If I upset anyone by this.... but I think its the truth. Lots of bums, loosers and so forth doesnt mean you are one! (you know who and what you are best yourself)
Reproduction is all about survival of the fittest.

just to end,
my girlfriend, besides being the piece of 'meat' that is, she's of the coolest, she has 3 times more friends than me, she allways has a program, if we don't get on to do anything there's allways a friend for her to hang for a drink, for a walk, to the movies, whatever ... and she's a professional ballet dancer..... . . . . i bet you'ren't expecting this one lol... she 's not a fanatic, but as all of us, she on to a party for the music of course, but too, to dance, she has a taste for a particular kind, but whenever possible she's be there, to dance, and i mean, Dance, really dancing!
today, she feels intimidated to go on a party because of the music and because people don't dance, march!

very good post from Krell...its exactly like this. Of course there are always exeptions...but "en gros" its like this...
for example:
When i go to a House-club..then there are always more girls then man...and all the girls are dressed like in video clip from 50 cent. so..how comes this??
so here you have just the oposit to our partys. I say this is not a coexidence..its just because women prefer those kind of scenes then men...
