It's not just your connection. Something's up with their servers. This whole deal is starting to feel like a boat with no crew on it.

It feels also like Hipatia desperately trying to save all burning books from the library of Alexandria.

Btw, it will be fast if you stop all cookies from the website - then at least you can scroll through the informative threads. But you won't be able to log in with a session id and write a post.

Isn't there any way to make a dump from the forum and import it somewhere else?

I read in a thread some years ago that the guy with the password is gone. So for those who feel that it would be good to communicate, I guess there are at least two solutions:

1. Find a music production forum where more sophisticated weird sound is not equal to a "dirty production" and where the users have more ahm...more explorative "a quest of a lifetime" approach to music production that transcends the profession of doing sound design. This is difficult , at least for me, because so far I have never seen a forum that even fullfills the first condition. Is there a good example? Of course there are forums with an extraordinary percentage of excellent sound designers, where a lot of things can be learned. But talk there about the inspiration behind music?

2. Find the guy who has the password or at least tell us his name so that we can say hi if we want to...And if he is on a kind of run away trip, then there are not so many places on earth where he could be so that a friend of a friend knows him...Well anyway, I think, the right moment for solution 2 was to happen 3-4 years ago and not now. But who knows..

Or of course solution 3. to just let things happen on their own and do nothing. But is this a solution at all, not really.

Call it a coincidence:

now that we have the rumours emerging from the depths of some threads to shed some light on the mystery of the disappearing "isratrance forum" crew, it seems to be working propa now!

At least here everything seems fine.

So if any of the founding members of this secret oligarchy is reading this, tell the guy with the password I said hi from planet Earth. And that we always enjoy reading with this colour scheme and are not willing to change to other duller colours so soon.

Signing off with another rumour: we may have a benign hacker infiltrated who can circumvent the missing password dilema with his cubase hacker skills and make things work here. So a toast to that guy to! Cheers

With soundcloud not coming to terms with the supreme evil of Universal and the other bunch of losers in hollywood and japan going all We should own the world otherwise we will sue everyone else's ass and every streaming server allowed on the internet should be mainly a showcase of our dearest talents like ACDC (never ever gets old, like Madona right?), it doesn't look like a decent place for us, psychedelic music making campers to set our tents on. So I'm more worried about that for the time being. Blue still beats orange (and I'm willing to let this have profound football implications here). Cheerios

1. Goa Gil is the hacker, aka Neo.

2. Isratrance crew agreed that Colin should just master fucking isratrance forum and that's why it feels much better now, proper keeping it real quality.

3. Goa Gil may have done this with drones, also releasing flyers - the beauty of words man - for his parties and asking every producer alive to send him music. The drones are said to be running with Ubuntu for phone, special Goa edition with backgrounds made by Raja Ram himself - free with a magic mushroom magazine subscription (and autographed with a special Goa Gil ohm namha something message).

Bass was a bit flabby around the India subforum, had to notch out some resonant trolls in the lower Offtopics. Dynamics are pretty flat overall but the Music Production section still has a good signal-to-noise ratio, although some of the members can still sound a bit shrill. Tried some multi-band processing but somehow the certain bands still manage not to be heard as widely as they need to. Still, the client seems happy, which is the main thing. I guess.           Mastering - http://mastering.OOOD.net :: www.is.gd/mastering

Not that I think most people need me to say this, but anyway:

I was going for good old humor rather then "trolling". Obviously meant no disrespect to anyone.

Cheers
