i would want psy to get popular 
more people getting familiar with a style of music doesnt necessarily will mean that it becomes commercial..
more people = bigger boom!

if it was as simple as more and big, i guess psytrance would be popular. But it isnt!:)
Besides no one (normally) likes crowds...its better to have niche audiences who really appreciate the music rather than trying to connect with a janta who will sway to almost anything!

but whya re we bothered if House is getting Popular shouldnt we rather debae if we want Psy to be popular or not and if not then why not whats the harm ...why should we bother about the popularity of some other musical genre ??

Let psy remain underground. its much better the way it is. I mean look at the places where psy has gotten a little popular i.e. Brazil. I see videos of these huge parties where its so crowded no one can even move. Everyone is trashed on e. And they play that shit cheezy psytrance. And I hear how at a lot of the big parties people come and get drunk and start fighting as well. No thank you to all that nonsense.
I know the party scene is a little fucked in india right now but itll get better. Just keep everything 100% underground. Psy should never ever go mainstream!! |

I love my house music... its a great genre to just go out and have a good time... guess people in india are saturated with Akbar Sami and Dj Akhtar remixes and are jumpin outta the box to listen to good quality stuff...
Personally I love my house to be with great vocals... (Vocal House)specially wid tha ladies as it takes me away from psy when i really need it to refresh my system...
Ofcourse there are people in our society who follow releases really closely like we do for our genre...
I think its a win win situation...

why house music....looking at the effect here in europe i think it is the first/easiest/commercial underground eletronic...where people can get fucked and enjoy....
trance is not for everyone......even if indians have been used to listen it at a much younger age i think than the rest...its already a music in the culture.
also i feel that house music is often associated with fashion/ materialism/ appereance and as a country becomes richer there is a crowd wanting to show off....house music is perfect for this...
this is why i think psy is better to be kept underground...or at least scare off "that" kind of crowd!
