In regards to the topic - I prefer full on when I feel like it, and progressive when I feel like it.
What decides what I feel like is what mood my brain is in. Some times my brain is cold, and it needs activity, some times its hot and it needs to chill out.

I like both... but i really like good melodic progressive music that builds in complexity and has a good hypnotic beat. I'm thinking of artists like Atmos, Funf D and British veteran snooker star Steve Davis.
My favourite genre is Funky-Apocalypse Disco-Monkey Progressive-Half-on.
You just can't beat that groovy sound!
