Neuromotor and E.S.X.S. are the same, and so are Hujaboy and Boo Reka.....why the alter egos when they sound almost the same????           ....good fudge comes on slow!!!

Follow your heart, not the people around you"

simon posford, anyone?

well, if your a psytrance artist, and you wish to show people your ambient side of music, you might wanna consider using a different alias, so your psytrance music won't be affected, sales wise and also preformence wise. "oh look, that's psyche! the big psytrance artist! i heard he started making some shitty house stuff...".. you all know those lines... you've been there

Some artists sign a contract under a name, if they wanna release under another label without messing up the other contract a name change could be a good way

I think they should only change name if its very different styles. Otherwise it just mess things up.

For example, ESXS & Neuromotor, Midi Miliz & Spirallianz. You might say its a difference between them, but thats not big. The later one irritates me because a guy I know likes Spirallianz but not Midi Miliz... I try to say they are the same           Ut ameris, amabilis esto.

we got Gorlation Corporation/HujaBoy/Boo Reka
for Nir Shoshani

and Hallucinogen/Shpongle/The Infinity Project/Celtic Cross for Simon Posford

too much names.           u can find "Anything U Want" using the search...

i dont think theres any need to change names, except for example, in the above example..where simon uses both hallucinogen for psy trance and shpongle for chillout (dont forget he is collaborating here as well)

i think changing names can affect sales, and leave fans missing out on some excellent music, simply because they didnt realize its one of their favourite artists releasing music, and this happens quite a bit, unless one is heavy into the scene and knows all the AKA's.
