Very true except over the years I just cannot stand the vocals in Metallica, sounds to much like a sh*tty spoilt brat!

Slayer is still my fav, but I would say they are on par now with Behemoth.

i would say that the best bands in metal were :
Metallica
Megadeth
Slayer
Anthrax
Helloween
Death
Emperor
Cradle of filth
they made the path for all the others that came after

I put Burzum in a genre of their own

You obviously don't know that Jeff from Slayer's grandfather fought in WW2 against the Nazi's. He brought home from the war some Nazi items in memory of what he had fought against.

This evoked an interest in WW2 for Jeff who collects memorabilia from the war, and also wrote lyrics about the war.

They are from Nazi's, unlike Burzum who has projected his racist right wing views openly.

In their latest album Slayer wrote a song about an infamous Japanese bioweapons unit from WW2. Does this make them pro the Japanese horrors from WW2?

Not only that, Burzum is a convicted murderer as is Bard from Emperor who killed a homosexual man in cold blood.
