Imposible task to name one, but if I have to choose one it would be Kafka           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."

That's a good choice Login. I basically know Kafkas work by heart, and each time I reread it, I discover something new.

Mine would be Halldór Laxness (1902 - 1998), the first and only Icelandic Nobel Prize laureate. But it is impossible to name just one, so it's neck and neck between Laxness and German expressionist Alfred Doeblin (1878 - 1957), and yes, Kafka.           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

Around here Kafka isnt a surrealist, but folklore XD           "The dedication to repetition — the search for nirvana in a single held tone or an endlessly cycling rhythm — is one of electronic music's noblest gestures."
