Maybe... and this is just a guess, that is why DJ Pena is considered for the 5th in a row, time the best portuguese DJ, who had the best reviews on the Boom Festival 2004, .. who cares right
And guess what, he plays progressive...
As for Vasco (Zorflux), a good friend of mine, went to the Omium GoaGIl party too a couple of weeks ago.
Yes he already played Japan, Mex, England, Germany, Brasil, Switzerland, that's true.
But how come you say he is the best if you never saw him mix? |

Sorry but you just waste your time with not one but two silly posts!!!
Off course i heard Vasco playing!!!!!
Just because you see a portuguese flag doesn't mean i leave in Portugal...I leave in the UK in Brighton!
I go to partys in Portugal since 95 and i heard a lot of portuguese "dj's" and that was just my opinion mate!!!
I never mention names in the progressive style and even less said that Pena was a bad DJ!!!!!!!!
And by the way did you ever been in partys in Portugal and in UK???Or did you ever spoke with artists about playng in Portugal they all say the same : Beautifull country amazing people but the people don't dance...
There is no point to slagg me off in this issue that was only my opinion!!
Please dont be so harsh on me again because i dont want to get another SPASM!!!!

i'm a big friend of him, and he has my total respect.
Since you are his friend too, you deserve my respect as well, and sorry for the misunderstanding..
But still (and this is just for you to get that smile of your face).
He hasn't played for a while now, and its kind of unfair for the rest of the active groovers...
About people not dancing. Well I know that parties over there have a diferent spirit.
But that's the spirit we had some years ago here, as you might know.
So, maybe those artists went to the wrong kind of party.
Some parties over here tottaly suck.
However, the last couple of months, i've witnessed Infusion, D-Nox, Beckers,and Kasey Taylor just to name a few here in Lisbon and they were awesome parties, with lots of beautifull people dancing.
Anyways, not being too cheerfull about performances is kind of a common thing over here, and not just dance music. You should know that

For me best Portuguese DJ is P_Mac and Anestetic (he are doing a great job in the dancefloors)
Spanish dj i just can remember Domi Pastor .. and very nice dj too
