Not really a DJ - but I agree Russel Davis was great doing the dawn set at Boom in 2004...
I've got particular memories of it though - I set my alarm to get up before dawn - went down to the chillout area and had whatever and relaxed with a nice chai... just after dawn Russel came on and started playing some beautiful tunes as the sun rose across the valley, the breeze flutered the canopies, and poi-ers gently did their thing casting shadows across the hillside... cool... this what you come to festivals for...
Except the inevitable happened and I had to go to the toilet (slightly dodgy stomach), and then everything started to kick in as I was sat in a smelly horrible portaloo... just as I heard Russsel starting to play Raja Mati - one of my fave ever tunes.. aarrgghh.... not what I had in mind as the ideal relaxed chilled environment...
Still - the rest of the set was very enjoyable once I managed to leave the portaloo of doom...
Er.. anyway... back on track - fave Djs - mainly UK ones I'm afraid - Pathaan, Mixmaster Morris, Youth & got to say Unity Dub as he lives round the corner from me...

There are so many good djs... I guess dont have any favorite one as it can change according to ambient, vibe and my mood.
But some of them have been a inpiration for me, like Hol Baumann, Midi-terranien, Red Seal, Justin Chaos, Zeon, Deviant Electronics, and the list goes on...
