SubP (and MiniT) has VCO phase re-trigger. Extremely important for psybass. Also there is an AU/VST software editor where you will be able to save the whole channel strip and recall whenever you want. On top of that LFO goes in the khz region and can track the keyboard.

I thought only the minitaur has vco phase retriggering, does that mean I can be lazy and won't need to sample the bass on the sub phatty?           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

you will have to sample /record it anyway , it s just a little gain of time that is well apreciated for sure.. but lack of phase adjusting depending the synth you can loose tightness and punch and headroom

Easy to sample a single VCO patch and make a loop out of the good notes. But as soon as you start using 2 VCOs, it is then that you realize what a godsend phase re-trigger is.

I've been exchanging emails with Amos from Moog Music. The option on where the waveform will re-trigger is going to be added in the Minitaur. It will induce a delay in note trigger times, but he is working on it.

Moog Sub Phatty is funnnn! Like all my gear though it's now boxed up for the move only after 2 days of playing with it.

I got it for a steal locally new for $845USD with a MF-102 chucked in for free           Cuntus Maximus.

Agreed. But finding a good condition Model D will cost and arm and a leg.
