as far as progressive goes i agree with all so far but also have been liking Klopfgeister allot lately especially the track A Tribute To Etnica which is amazing.
for dark or deep psy Ocelots 9 Lives.
i also was not impressed by the Cujorius One album (not about he production).

Triky's album from 07 is on my list somewhere too for sure.

Quality psy engineering.

I like people that actually experiment when they make music.

I only have one psytrance album.
I like it. I haven't seen it on anyone's list, so perhaps it's not so much a favorite of others? 2007 release I think, if not Oops!

Considering all the psytrance I've heard in two different places this last Sunday and Wednesday, I have the feeling many of the tracks listed here were played. A whole different sound than the Meta album that I have. Crazy twisted sound, fast, driving, relentless, real psychedelic in many aspects, had me leaving the ground many times. This music had me going the whole time. How you guys find this music is something I find amazing, let alone what happens to it when it's spinning in the machine with you twisting the knobs.

I like this list or poll of people's favorite albums. It'll give me lots of help when I start buying the records in whatever media I go with. This thread hasn't been added to in a while, probably because it has slipped off people's radar. I am thinking that trying to remember a year can make for certain inequities when comparing a January release to one in October and someone is writing about it the next January of the new year. Obviously any great album will stand out, but some really good ones can slip by with the passage of time and growing familiarity cause you to forget them for some reason. So here it is July of the following year as I write this and I am wondering if anybody might want to add any more records to the list. Maybe some that came out at the very end of 2007? Or way back to January 2007?

two albums keep finding their way back into my cd player

braincell - transformation of reality
and
prahlad - movements of conciousness

other highlights for me were
solar fields - earthshine
kuba - through a lense (my favorite downtempo album of 2007)

as far as comps go

V/A Ultrapop 2
V/A snap crackle drop
V/A Get your wonk on

thats what I got on the top of my dome that I know were released in 07 (so many 06's I almost put on there..) this year is turning out to be a good year as well.. I cant keep up with all the good psy that keeps coming out, and now another braincell on its way, I need more hours in the day to listen to it all. I'm sure I missed a few I want to tack on there, but thats what I got for now.

Over a year after release I've yet to see a single review of it here or anywhere online...

Of course the review section here has kind of ground to a halt though... The most popular topics are still reviews of albums from 2005 and the like...
