a world where people can share

Very nice thought.
It's just that the musicindustry and the whole money system isn't very much about sharing.
I think trance music by itself won't change that, but that it would change the whole trance scene if it becomes mainstream.

well...all your words that u say here is realy right but...the question here is...
we truly need to fucking grow more?!
in the past it was:"give a chance to trance"
nowdays its :"the trance maybe give u a chance"

its as if people here are scared that others beside them will like there music, and it somehow makes the value of it drop.. BUT IT DOESN'T...

Well it does actually.. As much as you want more crowd to like your music, or to dance to your music, as simple u have to make it. To reach 12 year olds and capture them with your music is not the same as to reach 10 years older person and do the same to him / her.

There is no doubt whatsoever - the more mainstream the music becomes the more shallow and simplistic it is - nothing to stay for long, just for the amphetamine I swallow today, tomorrow will be a new track.           http://perfectlystrange.com

I think this topic has a good question and important.

We gotta find who's responsible for the nowadays sound.

So that we can sue them.

...and slowly, slowly everything what made trance culture different from mainstream get's lost...
... That equals no 'danger' to the system, therefore accepted.
Isn't that just great

oh Pointy, i´m totally with you!

this is the essence of the commercialisation problem.

on the other side we can create some "niches" of underground apart from the mainstream-trance scene.

i do think that getting closer too more ppl and recongniton around in the media and the system will do only good for the scene,
artits will give more affort and will have more coises that will make diversity in the music.

and i think that the music is up to the artist it has no connetion to the amount of ppl that listen to it.

and partys, they will never finish, big ons lttle ones,
its alredy part of our clture.

it is alwys nice to find out that this special kind of music that was almost secred in the past getting the attention of ppl that didnt even understand how to listen this kind of music.

and how bad it is to listen to trance in the radio, television, video games,movies...and all over

this is the music we like no?

so i think the ppl that i noted on my first thred are very big part of it and deserve the credit and if you have more that you think that help this metamorph to happn post them

this ppl make a diffrent and taking our scene to a diffrent level and making a buzz on this music everywere..

They can all say THANK YOU to Juno Reactor..

And look at Skazi's or GMS' attitude today.. That's not something I would quote as an example..

They are using the Psytrance recipes to make their business, and have forgotten the state of mind they had in their first experiences in the psyScene..

Basta.

Why are some people so afraid of being mainstream or something??

Whats your problem? The point is not changing yourself, so be what you want to be. Most people worldwide are the mainstream (u see even the word says it) so are they all 'uncool' or stupid or what?

It's not about being mainstream or not.. It's about attitude and way of thinking..

They are just showing up..
Being droped at a party by helicopter IS showing up... because you perfectly know everybody will have some words about it..

If u wanna have fun with an helicopter then do it by night with a skilled pilot above a big city.. THIS IS FUN not showing up like spoilt children..           .

r u talking about the vision quest 2002? because i think it's got nothing 2 do with this discussion, the helicopter thing is just something that gives people excitement or whatever- it doesn't necessarily comes from commercial motives. all the rest u said- i'm with u!

No i'm not talking about this

About overrated artists being droped in the Alps in a festival where no DVD was made and where people were expecting only good vibrations and not secondary "excitement"...
