2 chaka laka- so what if the israeli artists fly around the world, i mean, good 4 them and best wishes, but that doesn't mean that they r good..
2 freakazoid- the whole discussion started when we biched and moand about the fact that there is no good parties due 2 the situation, so the whole idea is that if u know about a good party u should share the info and thus getting us out of our desparation, cause the stuff we said here about the israeli trance scene got nothing to do with our will to go out and party it just our taste in trance....
2 wako jko- well thats your opinion and u have the right to think that but i disagree, all the artists you wrote there sound the same, and sound very poor i must add......
but again, everyone and his own taste...
all the artists you wrote there sound the same, and sound very poor i must add.....
are u serious ?
i dont think there 1 person in the whole scene that will agree with what u said dude.
this is an insult to many artists...
i mean here is the list again:
infected mushroom, psysex, yahel, oforia, blt, space cat, hujaboy, astrix (and im sure i forgot more) from the old school times till now...
and also sesto sento, skazi, lish (and im sure i forgot more) are the newer and good acts...
HOW THE FUCK CAN U SAY THEY ALL SOUND THE SAME ?
think about it dude.
some are prog.
some are tech trance.
some are full on.
some are goa.
some mix styles.
THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.
and if after all you still think they all sound the same, well then u dont understand the music.
and thats my opinion.

no doubt that last two years only good things happen to local music. so many directions and so many new artists. everybody look for his own sound and style.
they are NOT sounds all the same. its impossible.
i cant say i hear something realy refreshing but not same for sure.
RESPECT YOUR LOCAL GROOVERS ;)

i agree that this is not an essential tool of measurement 4 their music quality but good evidence that they're good Artists and as such know how 2 kick buts at parties .. u wanted 2 party , didn't u ?

2 continue the list Wako gave i'd add all acts appearing at new fronteries and ufs3 compils .. these acts don't sound the same and some of them don't sound israeli at all

well psyoPHonik, actually, i think that this pesach didn't have many parties because of the weather and not because of politics (maybe a few artists who cancelled), if you'd just look at this weekend, you'll see there were three parties just as soon as the weather cleared up, so, i just hope you won't all go into tantrums every time the sky goes a bit greyish.

but i see, you didn't really mean this whole thing to change direction like this and just wanted to know about parties and that's great, it's what happened a few messages later that i didn't like. oh, well, forget about it.

EVERY BODY TAKE IT EASY, TAKE IT EASY.....
what we arguing about is taste.....
first of all i still think that infected, oforia, skazi, yahel!!!????? i mean what the fuck is going on here..... sorry to tell u man but if they r your favorits than i dont sure that i am the one who doesnt understand the music... but than again i dont judge anyone, i respect their taste, i just dont get it.....
how can u love the artists above after you hear trance like NBR, PELINPALA, HALTYA TEXAS FAGGOT, IN R VOICE, OOK, KIWA, DROIDSECT ETC ETC ETC....
I MEAN HEY!!!! get over it israeli trance no matter if its prog, tech, full on- i just isnt IT!
and btw this whole discussion started when i said the israeli dj's dont do it for me anymore, well if its your choise to ignore it and to defend the "ISRAELI TRANCE HONOR" or u can open your mind to the real, true, psy trance that is out there.....
i'll be glad to send some recommendations

OK, I joined in on this conversation late, so:

A) Summer is starting late this year, but don't worry about it, the parties will come along soon enough.

B) Yes, the organizers are settling down, but it was bound to happen, and we have some new blood in the scene for the real nature parties, and there already have been some great ones this year, and there'll be more.

C) I understand artists/DJs that don't want to come to Israel, and it's their own choice, so we might as well accept it.

D) Some of the Israeli acts are on the cutting edge of the sound. BLT, Sesto Sento, Sandman, PPS Project and so many others give a diverse, proffesional (well, some more than others) and ORIGINAL sound. Some of the Israeli DJs are definately in the big leagues - internationally speaking.

E) If you want to hear "your" kind of trance in Israel, all you have to do is look hard enough, because it's all here. Luckily - the scene here is strong, and if the police couldn't stop us, paranoia won't either.

Chill out, clear the mind, go to a party, lighten up, and put a smile on your face while you're at it... Because that's so much nicer than to whine about how much it sucks being here.

most of the people here r open minded...

and im no saing that israeli trance is just the best... coz its not (imo). there r very few israli acts that i realy like. mostly the new names r great... totaly other direction. its like all the rules got broken.

but i think that we talked about israeli djs. and as we know... israeli djs r not plaing only israeli staff.
so... i think that we have enough talented djs to put up great parties at these times.

dont get me wrong, there r many talented israeli dj's with very good and rare music, and they give a hell of partys... i was talking about israeli artists....
and ofcourse i'm looking hard to find my "kind" of music, dont be yafe nefesh a say "relax, go to a party...." bullshit, thats the whole issue that this thread is based on... "where r the parties????!!!???" isnt talking about tip in the tlv !!!????? or infected in nitzanim!!!!????? it talkes about the REAL nature parties that r so missed.....

Well psyoPHonik, I guess u r misinformed...

There are very good parties here... of course not all the time and of course u have to find a way to find them.. But at least 1 party a month is a VERY GOOD one.. And considering the fact that the REAL trance tribe in Israel is not so big considering it's name ( not every one with a black lite inside his car is part of the trance tribe - on the contrary ) then we can easily say it's quite enough to get u going..

Aahh and about the artists... Every one and his own taste.. I can say on the other hand that the music that u like ( Haltya project, Pelin Pala etc.. ) are very nice but after 1 hr with these one has to hospitalise in an Asylum.. So I prefer more delicate sound with a point. And there are some in Europe that satisfy my musical taste and some in Israel..

That's my 2 rupya for the occasion..

;-)

psyoPHonik dude.
i gave that list not because i love those artists.
just cause u said "they are all the same".
and as i said before it is 100% not true.
im not talking about the taste.
we may love the same artists.
im just talking about the principle.
THEY ARE NOT THE SAME.
no matter if u like them or not...
thats is.
i guess u said that cause u dont like most of the israeli artists.
thats your right, but it doesnt mean they are all the same.
anyway im starting to repeat myself... aaahhhhhhhhhh !
