Sooo, you're down...definitly down, personals problems and stuff but...your job in the org.(label, collective)It's important,or,even worst, you're a DJ or artist and the only way that you get money is from your gigs...but you're not in the frigging mood for this.
What to do???
PS:Answers like:"Be professional, smile&keep on going" are understood from the very begining, thanks.

Schedule a break at the very least... if you have commitments and can't get out, at least knowing you have some time off can help you out.

If Djing or music creation has become a job for you, then you have to be professional about it.

Remember to do something different every now and then - long walks, hobbies anything not related to your profession.
I think, most psy people integrate the psy lifestyle and music into their lives... However, when it becomes a profession, you need to relate to it as such.

Like Ron Lyner said, "take a break" - No one say you have to quit Djing or creating music - but try doing something different with your spare time...
Too much of the same, is ofte not a good thing, even though you do like it...

Good luck

just go outside, go take a walk in nature, climb a mountain. go to places where you can be %100 true to yourself and try to figure out the problem.

dont carry on djing when you are in a bad mood. it will make both you and the crowd unhappy.           `Bottomless wonders spring from simple rules, which are repeated without end` Mandelbrot

if im sick or something or just out of mood (its not happen alot but few times in a year i guess) so i first of all dont drink/smoke/whatever and play safe set which means trax i remember good from home sessons, i have alot in my head, i once played with broken headphones plug in mixer so i played 2 hours of trax with same bpm and its sounded exactly good as i has good headphones monitoring. home sessions help you alllways give a good set, practice and some memorie will help you anytime something going wrong.           Believe your soul !

Just go to the market, buy some stuff (wich ever you like), call some friends to go over your house.... cook something talk about nothing and before you know you will be smilling again..
If you need to go and play let your anger out on your set... play it dark and hard.... in the end you will feel very much relexed, 'cause all of the adrenalin from the set will be converted in to dopamin.... its like hitting a punching bag....           "open your mind....you might just see that there isn't anything to be seen"

If things are getting you down then taking a break, or even better just hanging out with good friends will definately help you along the way.. Being with people who really understand you and will never judge you and accept you, is one of the geatest joys in life..

I am self employed and know how hard it can be to take time off - but it can be the best thing for you!
Stay in there mate!            - - It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice... - -

I dont mix nor do i Dj sunstantially well to merit a spot on any happenin gig.
Feeling out of the whole scene is very likely and its happend to me coupla times. Not just the Psychedelic scene but also the usual living scene.
But here's what i do when im down. I COOk!!!
Cooking is therapy man. Get some Fish and make soemthing nice. gets ur mind off the problem and its relaxing. Play some dub, always helps too.
Invite some frnds and have a lil get together. If ur livin in abusy city everyone appreciates lil get togethers.

A break is the best way to relax your mind, spent some time with your true inner self, all those flash pics n thoughts that come from the brains dark room need some analyzing with a clear mind and before u know it the truth will set u free!!
Also talking to somebody-anybody would also really help!
Keep your head high,it won t be rainning all the time

Smoke weed/hash frequently? Like several joints everyday?

Well then, stop for a while... your head will feel much cleaner and your brain will take a rest.

Try to avoid stressfull activities that u really don't need too..

For example, I was doing a work for a website, just to gain some extra money.. but it was a really stressfull job (searching for stuff, catalogue it and put it online.. but like, 1200+ items).

So after a couple of weeks I decided to stop.. It was just too stressfull and anoying, and the extra money would do well to my wallet, but not to my health...

Money is driving this society crazy.. but we sure need it to eat.

I usually watch a movie close to me, before I go out for a gig. Either way, my mood will be high when I then go out to play. I also try to listen to some relaxing music, during my trip to the party. I can recommend the b-side of the latest Shakta album

I end the night with a listen to Module 02 on the trip home

Sorry but I don't have a creative answer for you... only thing that makes it better is TIME - learnt from experience...           Crackling universes dive into their own neverending crackle...
