Alright we've all been to parties where we dont really wanna be right?
You end up at a house-party or a club or just a lounge bar,which nice as it is, you just DONT wanna be there.
Ur tired, ur hungry, and just not feeling the spirit of things. This happens to me sometimes. Make that most-times. Im dragged by my girlfriend to these Pubs and Bars which are 'happenin' but just cant fit in my agenda. The place is packed, hot women around, booze and the occasional flash of skin  but its just not anythin great.Now u dont wanna be a party pooper and sit morosely by urself (which u actually REALLY feel like doin  AND down a few shots), but you smile and shit, look interested and make the accepted casual conversation.After all nuthins worse than a woman scorned. 
Especialy when ur livin WITH her 
But than somethin wonderful happens. You think ur imaginin it.Than it happens AGAIN!!. Now u start lookin wildly around you( everybody else thinks ur a nut  )
and just before u give up hope, u hear it again. This time loud enuf for it to be real. Its Psychedelic Trance!!!. The dj's playin PSYTRANCE!!!! U have this stupid look of disbelief on your face and it kicks in. Forgettin everyone around, u start gyratin to this sweet sweet sound. Gone is the exhaustion and dissent, UR BACK!!! 
A few weeks ago i was in NYC. Happend to be dragged to the 'Sugar Bar'.And found myself in the cliched NYC bar/clubby atmosphere. Resigned myself to a night of the 'same-ole',
but when the dj played ' Astrix - Tweaky' ,(didnt expected anythin harder, it's called 'Sugar Bar' for pete's sake!!) never realised how much i loved that music.
I love the sounds of Psychedelic trance.  And when i get to hear it in a settin where i least expect it, there's nuthn that cud compare.

Reminds me some stinky party i was at while on vacation in Eilat. Till 3AM the dj played most of the current MTV hits and then he stirred to IM's Bust a Move. That was the last track of his set.
That sucked, but atleast i have some good memory from the otherwise bad night.

OMG psytrance at forum beersheva... nothing could be worse. the whole dancefloor empties and just the hardass arsim stay for this kakahana. the dj always plays astrix, infected, yahel and spiritual healing by juan. i'm not sure what was better, the hip-hop\mtv part or this.
usually when i go to parties like those i prepare myself musically-wise and get really drunk.
alcohol always solves music problems. (actually alcohol solves any problem, but that's another topic  )

but hope when at parties where u just dont wanna dance with ur gal and busy gettin drunk and sudden u hear psy and hit the floor...and you really go for it...then its a worse...u'll really have it

Man i fully understand you cause here in Malta we do the same last summer there was a big beach party about 400 people the dj's were playing some funky techno stuff and the people were just sort of socialising and dancing with there hands in there pocket. What happened was that we knew the Dj and asked to play some tunes after he finishes his set he agreed no problem as the scene was fuckin boring, imagine this we started playing and suddenly all the people were not socialising anymore everybody was just dancing we had a great time and really unexpected! We had hijacked the party! hihihihii in Malta is like this man the unexpected is expected!

have experienced the feeling of being at a party wehere i dont wanna be at all..........but have to be there due to certain reasons.......
sadly though i still havent heard PSYTRANCE at the parties............
hope i get lucky one day
( the Dj does something for me and others like me who feel trapped in this partying/clubbing world)
At the end there is a DOOR & waiting for you on the other side of that door is either HEAVEN or HELL |

man I've been to a wedding party where the DJ started playing psytrance.... in NY...
most of the people at the party had never heard it before but they were loving it.
my friend Iggy was playing the music... the only other people who had heard trance before was the bride's brother. heh heh thats how iggy got his foot in the door.

i arrived at the location, ready, but very nervous, to go skydiving... never done it before in my life... we were getting preped w/ instuctions and all and i hear these loud full-on beats coming from somewhere... it was psy!! i got so happy!! the door to one of the rooms opened and i yelled "hey, who's listening to psy?"... it was the skydiving instructor... he just looked at me and smiled and said "it's the only way to fly"... classic experience!!
