Why discard topics so rapidly?
With regards to the 3DV style sometimes I wonder as well... I'm a fan of maximal trance but find little of interest in the 3DV-GMS style of things, despite it also, reportedly, being "full on". I think the difference is that full on used to mean layers of sound, whereas now it means energy level (to some people)... so for me I guess I should say I prefer the hypercomplex sound - Psychopod's Headlines EP is this exactly.

For the newer full on style I'm guessing its just a lot of fun to dance to, even more so with chemical augmentation. Its not for me, however... but with regards to the old concept of full on, I can say that the sound layers cross the spectrum and really keep my brain processing noises as fast as it can. Its stimulating to the brain, better than coffee probably.

Hi there!

first, very interesting to read ur opinions about the
think called "fullon". even funny to read that the discussion sometimes changed into answerin the question "whats up with the minimal progressive?"
i knowingly used a provocating writing style to heat up the thread... and there are some trax released on 3dv i like to hear.

since the last year a lot of big german partys went from a progressive-linup into fullon. the brasilians got very famous here and their mixing skills are just amazing..but why all the fullon? have i missed something??

nearly all new upcomin artists i know personaly know prefer progressive or techy (just i know). this is an opposite to the point that fullon is in vogue the last 12 month..isnt it?

basilisk, u say:"...the sound layers cross the spectrum and really keep my brain processing noises as fast as it can." i think this is a good
answer to the fullon-question. but isnt that
element used in one million trax? (which also shows that it must be a good one). on the other side the progressive tunes ride the bongos and congas in millions of released stuff.

so is my question realy a question about innovation? i 100%ly know that innovative sound
isnt boring sound.. boring sound is sound that
tries to reanimate elements which have been used millions of times imo.

the emotional message at fullon is very direct. proggy music is more connectin the sounds
into a room which shows the emotion like a
picture u can see more and more when u are finishing a puzzle for example.

i tried to find more answers on how the people see fullon-music because it seems like i cant 100%ly understand it.

PEACE !

fullon has become just as vague a label as any
does full on just mean high bpm counts???
it seems so to me. skazi gms bla bla high bpm
but thatīs all they got in my opinion.if you say you like full on music spend a little time to think about what fullon means.in my world it doesnīt mean gms or skazi thatīs for sure, their music is just too easy for me to be calling fullon as i know of other acts who put the on in fullon.itīs not just about a fast bassline, itīs what you put on top of that. i dunno maybe people are just lazy and resting on their laurels what do i know           Mastering available here:

give me some acid test! space tribe!!!!           I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

listen to pleiadians - time dilation, or etnica's 'plastic'... what BPM is that? those songs are proof that full on doesnt mean fast - only layered!
