I'll be the first one here to state the obvious,
...spend it on drugs.

So, you did this for your karma or for the person?

for both, i dont see my action and my karma separately. action-reaction..
when we make a good option/choice, i win and the other(s) wins too !

I wanted to point out, that some people seem to have the weird idea that they should care for their karma. And out of this somehow egoistic thought, they create good actions. I don`t think that it works like this. I think that one should be good without that focus on his/her own karma ... if something like karma exists, I am sure that I can`t gain karma when I am more focused on it then on the things that I do ... actions imo should not be a result of being focused on karma, but of knowing the right way when looking on the scenario, which one is confrontated with ... kind of weird thinking ...

Interesting to see, how many people would spend it on drugs. I must admit that I would have to fight a inner fight to bring it to info point or somewhere. But I use this topic for planting that thought in my behaviour scheme. Because I think that this is actually the right way, objectively. It is not my money. So it doesn`t belong to me. Easy just from the facts, but hard in action.

In its simplest form, the theory of planned behavior can be expressed as the following mathematical function:

Behavioral intention
AB: Attitude toward behavior
(b): the strength of each belief
(e): the evaluation of the outcome or attribute
SN: Subjective norms
(n): the strength of each normative belief

(m): the motivation to comply with the referent
PBC: Perceived Behavioral Control
(c): the strength of each control belief
(p): the perceived power of the control factor
W' : empirically derived weight/coefficient
To the extent that it is an accurate reflection of actual behavioral control, perceived behavioral control can, together with intention, be used to predict behavior.

PS : Just trying to look smart .....I have no clue

well, exactly the inner fight while bringing the money to the info point (instead of spending it on fun and pleasure) could probably be described as the "alchemical journey". it takes place while alchemists make real gold out of nothing. "real alchemical gold" is lucifer, the bringer of light who won the fight with the demons in his own self. it is more than money - it is what comes beyond: it is the insight that nothing belongs to you, all material things will detach and dissapear, there is nothing that belongs to you for eternity. the only thing that will come back is what energy you gave out to the world.

p.s. and btw if i do not think of karma, i do not see ANY reason to do certain things and be good to humans that are not good to me. in a predator universe this is like i do not take responsibility to carry life and survive by being a predator myself. the only thing that can stop me to be this, is the idea of karma.

When were you there last?

2004. It was nice except the market was crap & so was being hassled on the beaches. Nice local took us on a tour as well for free, but we gave some moola anyway for his generosity.

oh, you have been in "status quo" modus ten years long? things change, every day, goa is "dead" for long time now. today for example, this is what happened in goa: http://in.news.yahoo.com/yoga-teacher-police-custody-raping-german-tourist-145004981.html
you cannot even protect your own body and soul - and you think that you can protect money?

i used to blame people for stealing things at festivals. till i finally got it - i have to blame myself and not them for being there

what a load of crap Moki. You & 98% of the others on this thread are just proving time & time again why this scene will never go anywhere but down.

I lost a wallet with $800US at a large German heavy metal festival in '03. It was stupid of me, especially as it had my passport and it was a crowd of well over 10,000 ppl. 4 days after reporting it to the Aussie embassy they called me to say it had been handed in, everything inc. money was there plus a note saying "please be more careful next time".

My friend lost a wallet with his license & $25 at a psy gig this year with maybe 50-100 ppl. Never saw it again. And it was at a club.

Probably taken & spent on drugs eh? But according to you, Moki, my friend deserved this for just going yeah?

What a crock of sh!t.

Damn hippies.           Cuntus Maximus.

seriously , is there even one reason for me to be in this place if this is what i wanted? i do not even need to prove it because everyone knows it.

to be honest i still hope for a revival of underground psy trance culture. but more as a rare gathering that is not for everyone. like a shamanic session with a shaman for whom you wait and prepare mentally years and years to finally be allowed to be a part of the trip. and i do not see this happening on a "scene basis" throughout all commercial partys.

no, i never said that your friend DESERVED it. i just said that we are responsible for taking decisions so we have to blame ourselves if things go wrong, because even if we cannot change the world out there, we can choose to stay away from it and stop dreaming and hoping for unrealistic things. after you try some times to open a door and are never able to go through it, it becomes your fault to try it a next time.

p.s. it is unrealistic that i say and mean the same things lke 98 % , this sounds wrong per definition

okey, i will now be the second one to state the obvious.
what you need money for - of course for power - and what do you need power for - of course for sex. but at the end of the day, you only need sex, so you better find something else on festivals ^^

to be honest, not sure i would dare even touch any money on the ground of a festival.
i think it is now time for me to go further
