Sorry this is on a similar theme to some of tda past post, but am trying to diversify my music collection and move away a little from the steady chilled psy and ambient stuff I've been buying for the past year in order to get some balance! So what was the last CD you bought and what do you think ?? if possible rate it on 1-5 scale ...

Peace....

Respect!           - - - - - - - -
It's time to move on to the next step in the psychedelic revolution. We've reached a certain point, but we're not moving any more.

suntrip records - twisted dream

it's "oldskool" genre but i like it a lot, melodic and nicely done...

other but more older buys were from the same label:
Apsara (though this one is also a bit more "chilly") Ka sol and Khetzal

khetzal is a nice story (bought that one a year ago) it starts chilly builds up and ends chilly Ka sol is more the hard stuff yet still melodic and nice to listen to

i like those CD's from suntrip and i often listen to them... the thing is i tend to buy less fast CD's for listening at home, so they will all have more melodic chilly influences...

edit: oops i forgot the ratings

apsara 5 stars (easy to listen in all cases)
Ka sol 4 stars (sometimes when the mood is not there it is a bit too harsh)
twisted dream 5 stars good balance btween melody and "punch"
Khetzal 5 stars (nice story well balanced tracks that make a "whole")

of course this is subjective filteria is for me too harsh to just listen to i prefer to see them on a party but in case you might like them... here you go

so may the force of life light and love be with you

ITP-Lose Your Illusion 5/5
Joti Sidhu's album .5/5

FIrst 2 are real gems, the third is an absolute turd, I couldn't even listen to it... Repetetive, crappy fullon. Avoid. Worst release Ive ever paid for.          .
