Mine was a Xerox remix to some IM track, I did not like it, so some time after a friend of mine, who got me into psytrance, played Son Kite - Back beyond Rotation to me, and that was the track which got me really into it.
What about you?

I never said it was a short process of getting into trance, I just asked what was the first track you heard .
It takes time, i know it does. It just interests me what was the first trance tracks people heard, it seemed like an interesting subject.
cheers.

It depends how you define trance.
I used to listen to nitzhonot and electronic music which can be hardly called trance..
Names? Who knows.
First psytrance track was probably something by MFG, or Simon..

Astral Projection - Ambience
I just searched for tracks by Astral Projection and that was the first one I found.
Have a good weekend,

Probably Good Morning Israel by Eyal Barkan. As most of you know it was a massive hit and you heard it anywhere you went in Israel.
A good friend of mine was hooked on Trance for a long time and I didn't really understand what he found in this music. He was a very smart guy so he smoked me out (my first time ) and played Infected Mushroom- Psycho and then Space Cat- Kreak. That was all I needed.
  Both teams played hard |

i remember the first time i heard hallucinogen - twisted album i thought it sucked cos it had a week kick i was into much heavier techno at the time.. that was in late '95 i guess then i remember buying distance to goa one ('cos i liked the cover and thinking total eclipse "waiting for a new life" was ace, oh and slinky wizard tune.. then i was ready for simon..
but the very first psy tune i heard was ausgang "wires" off the first blue room comp "outside the reactor".. a mate of mine had it in early '95.. i kinda liked it i think.. but you know the boundaries were not so firmly drawn at that time here.. as i saw it anyway..

'Good morning israel' was also the first track I ever heard but it wasn't... 'IT'.
Neither was IM...
It sure was a long process.
Sometimes I wish I were older and could discover goa earlier, on its good days.
(but more i wish right now that my aunt wouldn't pass away this morning ).
cheers.
