What's your idea of the perfect party?
Describe the setting, music, people and anything else you think would make that perfect combination.
Have you been to your perfect party, or still dreaming of it? |

Perfect party...
Well... it's a combination of a few things, that goes hand in hand together.
2 first important things:
location and music
Then comes the crowd, and to some people (don't start an argument about that please) good drugs.
Perfect party? Well, I've been to the almost perfect party, on Kippur. Everything was amazing.
Like a mini festival, great crowd, great place.
this is why i said almost perfect... cause the music wasn't something.
Last party I went to, the Moksha in the desert was amazing also.
Amazing place, the lowest place on earth, in the desert next to the dead sea
great people
great vibes
good music... except that haldolium played at the wrong hour... |

Part 1: Progressive night, psychedelic sunrise, goa morning.
Part 2: Spectacular location, something with a lake/river, lots of colors (greens, browns, reds) in nature. Deco having NO lights projected into the crowd other than UV, and even then, a lot of weak ones and no ultra strong ones, since some people will inevitably look at something like that ;). A spot on the DJ (we all want to see who's there and he/she wants to see what he's doing). And a flicker. No night is perfect without a flicker.
Some good flouro decorations and stuff always help.
Part 3: A good crowd. People who come to dance, for the music, for the fun, and with a smile on their face. Ohh yeah, it wouldn't be right without some acid going around.
Part 4: DO NOT RUSH THE PARTY. Build it so the DJs complement eachother and that each set is a continuation of the last one (the last progressive bits get less and less minimal until psy fits is perfectly for the sunrise, like BLT and Nadi did in the Haldolium party at the lake, only with a psy DJ instead of haldolium at 7AM :)). Make it last long, so people can jump around to some Electric Tease at around 3-4PM... In short - let the people who come for the morning to have their fun too.
I've been to a few parties, but in order for a party to be perfect the lineup would have to be something like this:
00:00-02:00 - ManMadeMan
02:00-04:00 - Shiva Chandra
04:00-06:00 - Tristan
06:00-08:00 - Hallucinogen
08:00-10:00 - Koxbox
... and so on.
I probably won't get to see a lineup like that in my lifetime. |

Well the perfect party 4 me is as everybody said here built from a good line-up, a good soundsytem, a great place, original Deco', perhaps with a theme (y rnt there theme trance parties???), beautiful spot (i'd have 2 say a peak of a green mountain, sth like that, with a view, or in a forrest, these r my favorite spots...)
and finally good people, as asaf said "With smiles on their faces!!"
The party should flow (again as asaf said), and the line-up should b long, kindda like a small festival...oh, and the perefect party 4 me will b perfect only if i will play in it, so i insert my self 2 the line-up.....
(this is an example line-up)
0000-0230 DJ Kenneth
0230-0500 SHiva Chandra/Paps/Tegma
0500-0730 X-Dream (after them the party could b busted, or the world could explode, i dont care, i heard X-Dream!!!)
0730-1000 GMS (Sorry all u Gms haters, but this is my dream LIne-up)
1000-until people will dessapear Son Kite/Ticon/Feurhake
Thats it......

Perfect Party, well i don't think that it can ever happen but the closest one i have been to was last year produced by Tomer from TPR, it was round the end of March.
but if i could plan the perfect party it will be in the mountains, some where deep inside a forest and not the lame excuse for a forest that is in Israel but something like in Europe, there should be a lake and it should be at least a 48 hour party.
there should be a lot of good ppl with with a majority of Japanese which in my opinion are the hardcore, and also a lot of Israelies that will add the crazy side of the party.
good drugs of course.
as far as the line up is in conern i would go with Asaf on this one although i would have added some others that could give the party other colors.

A perfect party is a party with good sound, good location, good crowd, good music(like everybody else says).
If i could dj at the party then it would be more than perfect. A perfect party for me or my dream party would be seeing the collaboration of all ISRATRANCE artists in JAPAN @ FUJIYAMA. that would be a perfect party for sure.

In the summer times (or just warm enough) anywhere in the woods. Perfect weather, no clouds, no wind. Only psychedelic drugs... and all the people there should be on something (including the artists) :) Lot of UV-lightning and psychedelic pattern decorations. And here is a dream lineup:
