What kind of music do Greek people like?

I have been meeting a lot of people lately that listen to progressive music mostly and since i am one of those that claim that we Greeks prefer full on stuff i wanted to ask you what kind of music do you listen to.
This is just for the Greek lads offcourse 
I personally prefer full on psychedelic and a little psy tech

I cant just gerenalized my favorite music to a style , so i will just mention some groups that i like at the moment.
Dark Soho, Domi Pastor , X-dream and all of their psy-projects , Haldolium(old stuff), Electric universe, gms ,
hux flux (all time favorite) and wizzy noise..

The thing that made me fall in love with this music 8 years before was that it was totally new. Fresh as water from the spring. Never heard before, never played before. At that time I was listening a lot to psychedelic music of the 60’s and 70’s but wasn’t really satisfied with it. I wanted something new, something of my age and generation. Luckily i discovered trance back in '94 and everything changed. This music learn me to search always for new sounds and never be the same as the past. This was our goal, to go forward than all the others.
I keep this until today so I always will follow the progress. I’m not getting satisfied in a recycle bin!
so...progressive (trance, techno, house or whatever u wanna call it)

I m more into dark trance style ...
Groups like X-Dream,Spirallianz,Delta,Midi Miliz,Pps Project,Authentic,Platform,Soulipse,Tes,Groove a tech,Downhill,Hujaboy,Tetraktys,Brake and Enter,Triac,some Opsis...some Triplex...............
Always looking forwards for new killer futuristic sounds and out of space structures....
Hope that more Greek artist will focus to this style of music...

ok i ll try to be as short as i can because i like many different sounds and not only psy trance, but when it comes to trance my favorites are:
Bamboo Forest,Tristan, Man Made Man, Cosmosis, Double Dragon, Shakta, Planet Ben, Organic Noise, old delta and xdream, Son Kite, Atmos,Vibrasphere, Orion, Beat Bizzarre, Mumbo Jumbo, old Necton, Synthetic, Deedrah, Talamasca, Astrix, Atomic Pulse, Disco Slickers, Intact Instinct, M.O.S.Bitmonx, Noma, Jaia, 3.Turn, Yumade, Paps, and the not so trance anymore stuff from:
Quirk,Electric Tease,Minilogue, Nukem, and most of the baluns stuff.
I dont really like the full on stuff but some tunes from g.m.s. logic bomb, hux flux, lotus omega, Alien project, saafi connection are apparently good with neat production.
old times classic favourite Green Nuns.
Anyway i can go on forever remembering what i like and an eternity to slate what i dont .

The Psy scene has become more than less interesting so Progress in Trance finally came through this fine movement..I am very glad to see that eventually trance returns to its roots.. |

too bad those progressive minds that Detox told about didnt came to progressive stage at samothraki to support organizators idea. mostly german girls and some israely dudes were there
looks like Greeks mostly in full on.

Well, I see theer are some Greek labels who release progressive minimal music, such as Candyflip for example. I think the fact such a label exists, it shows that the taste starts to change a bit.
Also, ZMA (as already mentioned before) make dark techtrance.
So I think you’re right Mike, little by little people are starting to open up to other styles.
Kiou, I know you like progressive, and you play good progressive. Btw, I see you’re playing in Samothraki this year again ha?

All kinds of trance music especially full on and some minimal acts like xdream, yumade and pps project... I love scandinavian acts (son kite, ticon, vibrasphere, tegma, logic bomb and many more...) Also I like listening to the so called progressive music with acts like G-Pal, James Holden, Chab, Dj Nukem etc...

me and my friend prefer club trance, so actually we liked Tiesto and Eyal Barkan, this party was the best on Athens in the last years.
we think most of the people prefer club music, the progressive is underground music its not for a lot ppl.

I saw a video from a trance party in a beach in Greece, it looked like people was dancing wildely listening to some full on stuff! they're having a good time for sure!
