About 50 people is a good amount to keep a nice flow of energy I think.
Kind of the scenario Jespar is discribing would be very suitable for me too.
People should not only be music lovers, but dance lovers too.
A fair balance between male/female and a variety of age as well as nationality.

for me the quantity doesn´t matter as much as the "quality" of the people. as long as there´s:
-"normal" people who love psychedelic music and dancing to it (neither dread locked hippies nor poppers)
-hippie flippie freaks full of positive energy (not the pseudo hippies full of arrogance and fascist attitudes...)
-(exciting) travellers
-spiritual people (monks, yogis etc.)
-artists and musicians full of devotion and enthousiasm for the music
with this kind of people and NO SUPERFICIALITY, EGO AND COOLNESS, no matter how many they are - it´s allways a familiar atmosphere and chilled out.
worst are those hectic big raves with the atmosphere of a train station or airport - everybody in a rush running around and stuff like that really make me feel uncomfortable |

I would say about 100, cause never at one time are all the ppl on the dancefloor, so that would even things out. Say about 50 on the floor, then stall owners, tent sleepers, DJs, etc. make up the rest.......and still enough ppl to make a vibe

If I put all the people I like together it will be like 100 or so. I don't think numbers are so important, the people who is at the party are. If there are 500 hundred nice people, it will still give the cosy feeling of a small party.
