i'm sure this must sound totally cliche, but after watching the lord of the rings movies, i'm dying to go to new zealand.....and i'm sure a trance party in the shire would totally rock

In hell... well not really, was ata gabba/hardcore party and my mate had scored something cheap and nasty to take hehe, said it was acid but I dunno, everything went really evil and the poeplednacing turned into this mass of stomping zombies, rotting flesh and stuff, was the craziest night of my life, never took acid again hehe...

For me Ruigoord, wich is basicly a small hippie village in Amsterdam, Holland. They throw psytrance parties like every weeks in a church that is based in the village and remains there from a long time ago.

Once a year, they have the biggest psytrance festival of Holland in the village (Solstice) and we get to see some realy good liveacts. I must say the Solstice festival of 2011 was my best party ever, together with the location. At Ruigoord you can pretty much do what you want. Just about everyone who lives there is part of the hippie-community, so to say. And as long as you act respectful just about anything is tolerated.

-----bump-----

Solipse, Zambia 2001, 9 days with a total eclipse.

Sent £400 cash in a envelope to organisers in germany, and they sent me back rtn flight ticket to jo'burg and 3 day bus journey full of fellow party peeps.

Met friends i still know on that bus...

People think i'm mad for the cash in envelope thing, but i was REALLY feeling the love and peace back then, and was happily really rewarded for my trust!!!

Site was totally remote in middle of africa, 5000 or so attended.

just arriving from time and space at Tulum, great party

Wow. You must have been feeling so apprehensive about that. What a reward, though. Nine days... <3

I dunno what the best location was for me... Probably in a forest in the Isle of Wight, in September 2011. Forest psy pretty much the whole way through; could hear the trees creaking in the wind when the music wasn't playing. Even saw my first red squirrel, which are very rare in the UK, at this location. Was wonderful.

There's something about pine forests that really does it for me. <3

Beautiful setup.           Mushrooms make you do crazy stuff. Look at Mario he jumps on animal heads and fights with dragons.

That deco looks like some of the best you'll find, amazing!!

V jealous re; party in Tulum....enjoyed a few days there a while back, amazing vibe there, even with no party happening!

Chichen Itza is not far, a good example of mayan architecture...wonder if anyone has managed to pull off a party at a location like this???
