I was at school too then (14). We just heard about a rave and managed to get a lift over there and it just got ridiculous. "One nation under a groove". |

Fusion Festival in California in August of 2001. The lineup was unbelievable - Mark Allen, Medicine Drum, Shakta, Digitalis, Gus Till, Anti, Dimitri, Atmos, an entire world-class nu-breaks lineup (I wasn't into breaks so much at the time so I can't recall the names), and a load of others who I don't remember right off hand. The location was one of the most beautiful I have seen - in a scenic valley in the mountains of north/central California. The sound system was the Tonka system - no need to say any more about that.
I don't really imagine too many parties *ever* coming very close to that.
