just few words to say that hishiryo is a killer guy and killer artist with a lot of new ideas, he is very talentous and we can't limit his musik to sample, there is story behind all his trax!!
I meet him in belgium and he is a very nice guy with a lot of good vibes and positives energies, always nice with people!!!
Really kiler guy who never act as a star!
i wish for him all the best and a long continuation!

haha. Yeah he never acts like a star. He sleept at my couch for 2 weeks. Talk about a simple person. But i buyed pizza everyday, so i guess he was happy anyway haha

Long overdue but the Hishiryo live set that I experienced months ago still vibrates in me.
"think without thoughts, beyond the thoughts" ... so gorgeous. And its a bigger shock when you realise how apt it is! After I first heard this sound, for a long time, all it was was fast tempo super bassline twisted sounds. Unique but a put off because the chaos seemed to be vibing with the screams,samples,blahblah... thinking with thoughts.
Then there was the Live set. Boy oh Boy!!! hahahahah. Images and feelings compressed & uncompressed.
My interpretation.
First... the fast tempo as well as the bassline serves a very specific purpose. Its to make you go beyond dance. If you try to ground-thump-stomp to that tempo you its going to beat you down ... and hard. The bassline actually compresses the entire experience into a kind of tai-chi movement.... very grounded.
Next layer... screams, samples, evil dread. Funnily enough it made perfect sense at the time. One... you are in such a peaceful state that the screams are manifestations of everything thats trying to break through. The freakout lasts for a while but once you really get into the depth of it it's just a wall that you need to jump over to get to the next level.
The core of the sound. Spiral spinners, lots and lots of light, beautiful geometrical stuctures. Didnt feel it throughout the set but when that bit hit it was a revelation! A very deep insight into the being that created these sounds. It really was Hishiryo ... there in front of you saying... this is me. The essence of a musician and it was wonderful to see that kind of individuality projected into music after so many years.
2 Tracks that bring back the experience. "Nantoka Yattemasu" and another has samples that say Dr.Satan or something along those lines. Dont have the track but the memory of it is like an imprint. Would love to know where else I can find it though.

Shenz aka Hishiryo is one of the most original artist i know, he is sweet and completly freaks, always helping people and with his own great touch to make music.
I am proud that him and dejan are french artist and represent psy all around the globe!!
All the best hishi, good luck for the future and wait ur album very much!
