After a long stretch of not doing anything party-wise, I'd like to throw another outdoors... again daytime, oldschool, and unconventional. So I'm passing the suggestion hat: what do you want to see at a party, that no one is doing?
OTOH (Off Top Of Head) -- here's mine:
Long day's journey into night - Inverted psytrance party, dark morning sounds and chill night music
Secret identities - All DJs must come costumed! :cool:
Psycoustic - Jam with synths/instruments
Sigils - Drawing a line in the sand (literally) against the current administration 
The Draft - Picking random people from the audience to DJ
Give me your thoughts... |

Secret identities for DJs sounds like an interesting concept.. you could shroud the DJ booth in some gauze so nobody will see who is playing, but the DJ can see what's going on on the dancefloor.
picking random people to DJ sounds pretty atrocious. unless it's a DJ bbq.

I think a maskarade party with hidden identities it would be a trip
Here in FL we have done some day parties into the night. I also was thinking to do a psycoustic party, but I think it would be cool if musicians jam to a DJ set, adding layers and motivs. All mixed by an engineer

No need for strippers mate, everyone can get naked and make it sexy We could do a bacanal party NP and combine it witht he maskarade in some lost forest. I have seen it done Strippers are always welcome to my parties, as well as managers, lawyers, painters, waters/waitresses... you name it... just have to have the spirit.

I really like the anonymous DJ party. A nudist party would be cool too if people would be real about it and don't expect a tittie parade. Duh, we're naked. Don't state the obvious Dark, thumping daytime gathering would be very excellent. Let's roll these three into one! Wild.
This one is a playful fantasy: Water park, psytrance gathering. Ride the slides while the beats ride you! Yay! Okay if I ever have too much $$$ (Ha!) or a sweet water park connection you're all invited.

Dunno how good the idea of calling people up from the crowd to Dj would be but everything else sounds fine
and yea dark mornin and full on night sounds very interestin!!!that would somethin nice to try out...play around with the people a lil bit!!

My fetish was always for an outdoor party under the northern lights during the summertime. It's the closest we'll ever get to space for the time being  .
A psytrance party on a cruise ship might be nice, but people might really start tripping and jump into the sea . |

I've heard of a couple boat parties last year in the southern CA- one of which did not go through in the end (poor organizing?). ... but it would be pretty groovy. Maybe for more of a chiller than a killer |
