hmm.... u people should open a thread of a "dictionary" and let some respectable artists and music people explain 2 u the essence of this music and perhaps explain 2 u what is the meaning of the word "Evolve"!

Its not bad trance..
Its just very new style from yahel (almost all the trax..)
I also didnt expected to hear this music from Yahel...

i actually found the new yahel CD to be quite a surprise. true, the video is somewhat awkward (to put it mildly), but some of the tracks there are really good, with some nice thuoghts behind them.

what's special about yahel's cd?
take for exmaple
Yahel - Heart ache
all the track is the same for 7 mints u hear kick and bass
that's so minimal!
u can't compare it to waves of sound , yahel's second album.
with amazing melodies and sounds that still remind in my mind! |

I know ppl that HATE HATE the 2nd album.
Like u hate minimal they hate melodic trance.
So like Wako said, anyone with his own taste.
For u is boring, for other ppl its great !

well.. why do you think its easier to make minimal??
i say its harder...
its harder to make somthing with few sounds that would be interserting...
so if you can do it.. its the best...
and israely trance sure gets better everyday..

but minimal is not interesting
besides, finding melodies is one of the hardest thing in trance. maybe that's why people "Escape" from it and don't make good melodic trance anymore?
i mean there are some good artists and tracks that didn't start with this trance (progressive?) today such as blt and oforia. but some artists (such as yahel) stopped to make the good melodic trance
i say: if one makes good trance he don't need to change his style until people wants something else! |

well..
1. Its not hard to make melodies...
2. You can't say minimal isn't boring..
its the most interesting trance exists.
if you want melodies try to listen to club trance..
3. Artists shouldn't make what people wants...
they should make what they want, what they love and what they think is good..
