This place is deathly, deathly silent. somethings got to give ...

What do you want from Psy? Not just from the music, but the parties, and just the general scene. Harder? Less commercial? Lighter? More local stuff? 'Out of the box' music?

I don't know myself, but I think the scene is often thrown at people and they just comply with whatever is happening. But if you could change it, what would you change?

The party season is just about to hit so now is a good time to let people (organizers, artists, etc) know.

Laka, shot for the help

I'd want more of a variation of the music! more actual psychedelic music.... less psychedelic "dancefloor hits"!! less dj's wanting to be god... and more smiles!

Push the boundaries! It's so funny how something so abstract and amazing has quickly become so easily packaged.

but i suppose the same thing happened to the house scene!

let's just party.. have a good time.. smile and listen to some goooooooood music!

well living in atlanta usa i dont really have much of a psyscene very close by. but as a fan of south african music id love to see some collaberations between the new artists and the older ones, like rabdom l vs lost n found . hehe. would be nice to see how this would influence the south african sound. even more collaberations with international acts like kode six n splinter, would be interesting as well .

for the easy-to-listen rubbish to stop and music with a certain standard to be played more often. in other words, less repetitive, squeaky shit where the excuse is that broadening the genre is equal to broadening one's mind, or sum philosophical drivel like that. hard, fast, melodic and, most importantly, psychedelic.. that's what makes the music special and sadly, no one seems to give a $hit.

oh, and electrypnose from 12-6 on a vortex rig. ratatatat

for me its quite fine BUT i´ve been in private parties only in the past months

generally speaking.. loooads of things i´d like to change to go to open parties..
the main points are:
less ppl
less hits
less wannabes
my old mates all together having fun in a paradise place
different styles in the same party.. not only fullon

sounds a lot but its the basic thing... in my opinion

Thanks for the revival

We're organizing the next village's lineup and I was wondering who the most sought after South African Live acts are .. any suggestions? anything goes, morning or night, breaks or chill sets. would be much appreciated!

play some psy trance?
fuck, another party like that smugg juggler debut party. no that was moiness.. what's the story with that mmd vs beartrap in a few months from now?

the problem i have is that 90% of parties are labelled evil or whatever you wanna call it, i'm sick of this discussion, but 90% of the time it's a waste of just that... would you say it's more techtrance evil, pixie evil, just deep bass evil, actually psychedelic evil or full-on/minimal evil? or is it moi? i think there needs to be a scale or measurement sys. like class a drug = class a evil = sweet whereas class c might be for emos
