Look my friends..respect to all opinions about hallucinogen..
But u have to know that all the BIG artists bellieve that simon posford is the man who change(and create) psy-trance scence(artists like kox-box,infected mushroom,x-dream,..and all the best artists says that simon is the teacher of them.
why do u think that Hallucinogen was thwe artist who play 12 o clock 31 -12-1999 on the s.africa fest????
why they put him to close all the big fests??samothraki 2000-1-2-3?sonica fest.2005??
what do u think.???
i think that enyone who dont believe that simon (Hallucinogen-Shpongle.Younger brother,and many more) is the best one iam sure that he never listen a Hallucinogen live or set shpongle Never in his life.
Believe me if u go to a festival (beter than aclub to listen simon) u will change opinion about simon...
but pls listen simon and on ambient stage ..!!!u will understand then who is the best one...
i hope my friend who dont have a hallucinogen experience then follow my advise
all your life will change

Big respect to Simon. For sure he is super talented. But music is all about taste. Some ppl like his music, while others think that he is boring.
Believe it or not, I never heard in my life hallucinogen's albums. Only Shpongle & younger brother. Don't know why.
The is no definition in low to something that is universally the best. Taste is the key word. Simon can/may be the most skillful. And the most skilful is the one that can do things that nobody else can. But that can be toled only by the ppl who know him personally.

look friends honestly i do not post to tell u that u dont know about music..
respect to all opinions
but u know i listen psy trance 7 years and i understand simons musi before 2 years.
i think u have to listen all kind of psy trance(acid trance,full on,progress trance ,ambient and)after that and those years u will find a new kind of psy trance called simons music.(Hallucinogen,shpongle and younger brother)
and i post this because the change of my life by ''learning simon s music''
and i want all people to have the hallucinogenic experience
know after a 6 years going to partys and make partyss every week the last two years i follow hallucinogen.
this means that i try to go to listen simon posford every where he plays
this could be 2-3 times a year but i prefer to dont go for 1 year to a party to make money(dont spend for clubbs every week)to go only to festivals that simon plays (and of course as more twiste stuff as better is)last one sonica festival that a lot of good music played there(maybe the best music ever on a fest.and hallucinogen was the last live on stage and after that all the fest.went to the ambient stage and dancing a 4 hour shpongle set
simons music both stages was by far better than the others artists(1 stage more than the others)
all the artists was dancing for the simon!!!
u think is it a coincidence or fortuity ?
at least i am writting these cause i like for u to have an experience like this.Respect to all music opinions
i was listening a lot of shits before 3-4 years and then i thougt that was the best one
only after simons 4-5 times listening i UNDERSTOOD...

ok. hi!! i went both :sola-luna and samothraki festival and i must to say that i enjoyed hallucinogen very much... exelent playing with enegry at the dancefloor and the decs to!!the men was blow off!! At 2002 it was good but not to good to fill me..! he played with out energy with to many cuts by the sound system and the things getting a litle angry...
This year i was at freedomfestival and i saw him too..He played good but again not fill up... i can say that his style is an old-time-trance i believe that he made a revolution but now what? we must to see new things from the hallucinion him self!!!! soo this is my opion... |

hallucinogen music is not for home my friend
u cant understand this music
only in festivals 100%(neither at the clubbs)
i dont listen hallucinogen in my home but in festivals i go ONLY for hallucinogen live in the mane stage
and all the ambient stage
i prefer (after hours and hours in the mane stage listening all kind of music)knoe i prefer to dance on ambient stage only
and to dont miss hallucinogen on main stage
that i did to sonica fest.and i was my best experience
i think dancing on ambient is more mystical experience than dancing on main

SIMON IS THE MAN AND ON OUR DAYS WHO U THINK HAS CHANGED THE AMBIENT STAGES?
SIMONS AMBIENT HAVE THE SAME CROWD WITH THE MAINS OTHER
SO I THINK U HAVE SEEN HIM ONLY ON MAI STAGE
TO HAVE OPINION I THINK U HAVE TO SEE HIM PLAYING DJ SHPONGLE AND THE BEST ONE SHPONGLE LIVE BUT IS VERY DIFFICULT

Respect..To Hallucinogen..The best musician,producer,in the psychedelic scene,i saw him at sonica festival..it was a dynamite..everyone in the ambient stage was dancing. unbeliavable experience.!Every festival must have simon posford in his line up...(shpongle,hallucinogen).Remember samothrakis gathering,or solstice 2000+++..he was there every time.I hope It would be in samothraki 2006..i cant imagine samothrakis festival without hallucinogen. |

Well I'd say it actually happned along time ago with Mysatery of the Yeti, The Infnity Project and Youth... Simon P just had the timing right, not the music... he released it when the trance scene was stagnant and needed someting different, I'd say Shulman is 100% better sound, originality and quality... Hallucinogen was also amazing back in the 90's, but like most of the 90's producers really struggles now-a-days. |

hallucinogen had its time, a great reference, but I, think Sir Simon will have to work a lot if he want to surprise us with something new, he as TIP, or almost, or whatever, so he'll be releasing and making money in whatever way, but to impress fans such as we... |
