hey i wud like some opinions/tricks/tips about mixing psytrance with various genres to come up with unexpected psy mixes and funny music
i tried to some asura tracks which had no beats as the 3rd source after 2 CD players..sorta let it play but at the right bar..
i got amazing results..even a nice dark track became suitable to be played in morning 
herd some mixes with good classical or some strange stuff in the mixes and then back 2 full power...hehe i like the style..who all do it?
tips please!

No a good idea at parties (unless you really know what you're doing).
For sure lots of fun to do it at home... Try bethoven with morning tunes...

Last week-end I tried to mix-up Dark Soho's "Save Me God (rmx)" with "YMCA" from the Village People and had a tremendous floor response !!!!!
 Kiddin' of Course...
But more seriously playing a phat Dub track is sometimes very cool !!
I've heard "Witness" from Roots Manuva being played while a psyset one time, was incredible !

Learn from Infected - they successfully added clasic music to the trance tunes. Sun Project inserted some hard rock cuts. But be carefull with parties unless you know what you are doing, people could be surprised too much.

I heard a guy mix some hard acidy old-skool psy with Michael Jackson at some party 5 or 6 years ago. It was pretty damn funny.
I used to play this mix of an old Germinating the Seeds of Doda track (the one from the 21-3 Elastic comp) with some Debbie Gibson track from the '80s. I called it "Germinating the Seeds of Debbie Gibson's Doda". It always got a laugh or two. 
Nowadays, I am not so adventurous. I like to progress between styles (psytrance, breakbeat, tribal house/tek, etc), but I generally do it pretty smoothly, without any big jumps from one to the other.

i listened to that famous Carmina Burana's opera act called Exorcist Apocaliptica (i think that's the name) and thought that it could make a veeeery nice combiniation with a dark soho or xenomorph track.......
....... imagine something like that at 3 or 4 am at a party....... WOOOOOWWWW........... what do u think??
