Back on the subject, I somewhat agree that labels and only labels should be able to decide if they are able to to which subgenre their psy belongs to, but then it is REQUIRED that ONLY labels be allowed to post in this forum and not some joe sixpack who happened to check out a label webpage or psyshop copies the promotional blurb and authors the post. |

back on topic: i like it just the way it is. when i come in here i tend to read most new threads. its like going into a record store and browsing through all the new releases. if it was all split into categories i probably wouldnt get to find out news from other sub genres.

Well, im sure your record store doesn't have the metallica in the same section as the tiesto stuff.. Nor is the House music with the Infected Mushroom.. And i would be scared if the Skazi stuff was beside Vibrasphere..

Hey... this area is a spamstravaganza... who cares? Equal opportunity advertising is what this is about. It would be different if Isratrance weren't a basic forum. A promo zone with Digg-like characteristics uniting the "wisdom of the crowd" with the wisdom of individual experts to pick and choose which new releases are worth attention would cut through the signal/noise problem, but it isn't currently technically feasable around here. Welcome to the Internet, five years ago. Population: the entire psytrance world
